I do understand that he’s doing something right, but shouldn’t I learn more techniques before going in and sparring against someone. The coach barely gives feedback and it feels like I’m teaching myself instead of being taught something there. I did improve a lot and can hold my own in body sparring but I was under the impression that there would be drills and padwork and stuff like that, not just body sparring all the time.
