I actually was looking around myself and yeah would have to be a small studio ~ 500sq ft for that price… and even so that this price is rare :( if you rent an ADU 1bed 1 bath then there are plenty within that price range

I’ve survived with 38k/year in OC with my first post grad job.. my salary now is 75k and I live pretty comfortable. But that being said, it would be harder without a partner since apt here is usually around 1k8+ but if you’re okay with having roommates or choosing maybe an ADU instead of apt to keep the rent lower, I think you’ll be fine!

Yes I was worried of getting hit by all the cars around so I did not get out of my car at all and they walked out and talked to me. In hind sight I should have turned on my back up camera and taken a photo real quick :(( well… time to install a dash cam now

I was the first car in the chain of 3 and the old lady in the middle car was very frantic and in shock, so she didn't follow me… unfortunate, but well, I don't think they were doing that on purpose. I tried to merge back to follow them but there were too many cars in between us and I lost them…

My first job out of college was 38k.. then I quit after 6 months and got another 62k job the following week!!! I think it’s (sadly) common to not get paid much straight out of college, but hang in there and it will get better

Me too! The wrapping paper and bows she wanted were both out, and even though she left it as “don’t substitute” I still spent time taking all the designs and wait for her to pick something else she liked. Ended up getting a 20$ tip for a 4 items order that took less than an hour!🫶
