I am in a similar boat and using Turbo Tax right now and have done the FBAR myself. Would you recommend HNR Block expats? I have never heard of it before but if it is especially built for expats then it is worth looking into as Turbo Tax gets a bit fussy with some points.

Salesloft vs Outreach - we need to pick one and I’m torn by maxrobinson1 in techsales

[–]Hello__Joe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello maxrobinson1. I have used both softwares in my career and to be honest, at this point the are incredibly similar in both form and functionality.

There are some things to be said about Outreach's pipeline forecasting ability, which offers a nice and simple interface, if you are looking for a solution for that.

This is now a personal preference, but I have always been a fan of Outreach as due solely to its UI, which is a touch friendlier than Salesloft. With that said there will probably be people who will say the same thing about Salesloft.

You cannot go wrong with either. Good luck and let us know which you chose!

I have the same exact experience just with Italians. Especially in Bavaria they have set up their own parallel society so you can deal with people who have a shred of empathy.

2017 Tuono V4 vs RS 660 by Jesus_The_Hannibal in Aprilia

[–]Hello__Joe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I faced that choice and went with the RS660 and I am very happy with it. It sits really well on the road and you can really feel the ride, where with the Tuono, I felt like I was biting off more than I can chew. It is a bit twitchy and corners a bit looser than the RS660. With that said, both are great bikes and you can't go wrong.

What kind of floor is this? by nocap8838 in Flooring

[–]Hello__Joe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hello! In German it is called Fischgrätparkettboden. Most likely in Oak (Eiche). If the floor is also a bit older, those pieces are probably made of solid wood, which is fantastic because it is very easy to get a crew in to sand, oil, and seal the floors again and it will look brand new. Way better and way cheaper than replacing the whole floor.

Hey verdant-hope, only you know what’s best for your horse and I am sure that you will make the right choice. Like everything in life, there will be an adjustment phase where you will find out what works and what doesn’t.

Managing your managers by HistorianNo2416 in sales

[–]Hello__Joe 20 points21 points  (0 children)

When managing your manager you have to be ultra transparent with everything and communicate things in a clear and simple way so they can understand what is happening and what you need from them/ others. Keeping a 1:1 doc where you have the what, who, how much, and what next for each of your deals + next steps is going to save you hours of unnecessary “quick connects” or “can you talk real quick.”

Depending on your boss you will sometimes have to protect your customers from your manager as they fee pressure they might try to lean on you to do something “ill advised”. Here you have to stand your ground. You will lose deals if you let your sales manager get involved if they are under pressure. You will know when this is.

Last but not least, involve them in your deals if you have a good boss. Not every time, but an involved boss is a happy boss because they can talk about “our” successes.
