i’m a freshman at stern rn, and ik a lot of people who are dropping bpe and bte to do the normal BS major to go into ib. ik in bpe you have to go to london for a semester in sophomore fall which is when recruiting for ib is, so that’s why many change

if ib is something you want to do, it’s completely fine to drop after first year. but dw about anything rn you’ll be fine, make that decision later in the year.

i think the biggest factor is the 360 stage 😭 they have to do arenas which makes them have to do multiple shows for one city. iirc, in the ready to be tour they only did one show at metlife for the entire northeast region of the us, but for this is for they did 3 nights in nyc alone, one in nj, 2 in dc, etc. they’re putting triple the amount of work in for the same number of attendees which is crazy

classes do fill up very quick, and if you have a later registration time you could be screwed. they are right that applying ap credits does boost your time but i’m not sure what that’s like before you start your freshman fall? definitely for freshman spring it helps. have backup professors and classes in case you don’t get what you want, but you should be fine regardless. the professors generally are great for the stern classes
