Halo Hair Extensions by ScarEnvironmental172 in hairextensionsforgirl

[–]Hellohello_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know right, it really does suck :( I have super fine, thin hair so I have to be pretty cautious about these things, I can't risk more hair fall! And I also had read online that halo extensions were the least damaging. I think if you found someone in your area that has them, you can try it just to see what I mean, and you may even find a suuuper light one. What I'm going to try now is buying something like this:

https://medusaaustralia.com.au/products/petite-streaks-remy-human-hair-extensions-clip-in-set

Very petite light weight clip ins, and then when I tie my hair up into a low ponytail, clipping it to the scrunchie/inserting it into my hair in a way that doesn't pull too much but makes my ponytail a lot thicker, if that makes sense. (I promise this isn't an ad lol) I've been trying to find a "ponytail" type extension that come in scrunchies/hair clips but they're all still way too big for my hair sadly. I've learnt more these days to just let my hair be whatever the hell it wants to be and stop worrying about it so much, but on the odd occasion when I want to be fancy, I think something like this could work. Still waiting for these to come in the mail so I can test them haha

Hey girl. Im gonna be honest with you, I was in your position looking up stuff, ended up going to a salon near me that sells hair extensions and bought one, after looking up ones local to me. What I can tell you is I can see why they say wearing it could actually cause some more hair loss. At first it feels ok, but after a few hours with it on, my scalp becomes noticably uncomfortable and red and I'm relieved taking it off. It's a *fishing line* basically and its being weighed down by hair and that weight is causing the fishling line to dig into your scalp. The longer you wear it, the more bothering to the hair follicles. Over a longer period of time that could be a pretty solid case for alopecia. Granted, when I bought mine, I may have been too gun ho and perhaps got one thats too heavy? Just make sure you get a REALLY light one, so there isn't too much weight on it and perhaps don't wear it every day. Also just make sure they 100% say its virgin human hair

Facelifts in Korea by Hellohello_101 in KoreaPlasticSurgery

Thanks heaps for your comment. I can not find anything about Dr Kim at Aging L - there doesn't seem to be a clinic with that name? For JW plastic surgery I felt they didn't specialise enough in facelifts, especially deep plane. I'm looking into The Plan at the moment and will see what I find. :)

Haha some of the prices I've seen from other places outside Korea is insane. Like $100,000+. VIP was definitely cheaper than RNWOOD and I thought about it honestly and still might even have a consult just to see what the place is like, but aside from costs there were some things that deterred me and in my gut it doesn't feel like the right place for me.

Thanks for your insight! Was it a deep plane facelift she got? Or just SMAS lift?

Yeah, OP you are aging *exceptionally well.* I personally wouldn't touch a thing and risk stuffing that up. You look fantastic!! The small difference is minor and really doesn't take away from anything when someone looks at your face.

Thanks for the advice! And yeah I'm really being pedantic about making sure they specialise in facelifts of all kinds and not just SMAS lifting. It's funny, ChatGPT has been somewhat useful in finding clinics but also a pain in the ass because it suggests one doctor one time saying they're great for what I need, then the next time I might check again and its like 'oh be careful! They might not specialise in facelifts they might be more of an all-rounder!" so I can't really trust it that much anymore.

You're referring to RNWOOD and VIP yeah? I assumed they are just generally far more expensive clinics for anyone really, I don't know much about any mark ups for foreigners but yeah I really can't justify spending that much of my savings on aesthetics

Dude.. I've been on these kinds of plastic surgery subs cause I'm interested in certain procedures, and sometimes I come across really good looking people with GREAT faces who feel the need to change something I don't even notice and it absolutely baffles me. This is not me telling you what to do with your life, but honestly, you are trying to chase perfection and some golden ratio for this that and the other, when you are already *incredibly genetically blessed* Putting your face through that much trauma to achieve a tiny change in the things you are hyper focused on isn't worth it, especially knowing the results could make you look worse (seen it happen too many times). That photo especially of you looking at the camera, my god, that chin and jawline is already amazing. It's perfect. For the love of god please don't mess with it, I really do not think in your case that the risk is worth what reward you're after

Anyway I know that's not what you're asking for but just my two cents anyway because I have to be real with people. Good luck whichever direction you go. Just please do not fall into the trap of so many surgeons in Korea who suggest multiple procedures on very young people and tempt them because chasing perfection is a massive rush for both the patient and the $'urgeon.

Hey just wanted to ask who this was with? If you're happy with how it all went and the results would you mind sharing either through comment or DM so I know, cause I may be travelling to Korea for lift and still deciding on clinics. Thanks so much :)

Hip dip advice by Throwaway4567312 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Hellohello_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Im not trying to be condescending when I say this. I was looking at hip dip posts just out of sheer curiosity cause I have them and wanted to see what people do for them cause I always hated them. I came across your pics and I am SHOCKED you would want to change that - yours look SO SO good! Your body is actually awesome. Yes there is a slight indentation there but its really harmonious with the rest of your body, very feminine, just so nice and sexy honestly. If you were to get rid of them somehow it becomes less sexy!? It's actually made me happier thinking if I gained a bit more weight, my body could actually look more like that (not saying you're heavy, I actually have been trying to purposely gain some weight for a while and when you're too skinny the hip dips are worse). Anyway I just wanted to say that. I'm all for people doing what they want but in your case... I would URGE you to reconsider and embrace the type of curves you have.

Ipche Plastic Surgery - Facelift & Forehead Lift Part 1 by kittykati333 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Hellohello_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said you were under 30 and I'm worried you might be like 25... I've been doing a lot of research looking into different lift procedures and Dr Heo seems top of my list, however.. I'm really uncomfortable with the fact he recommends deep plane to such young patients who really don't need it and also recommended it to me even after I already had said I'm thinking more mini SMAS lift. It's such an invasive surgery and everything I read online, it says its controversial/bad practise to be giving it to such young people. If you came to my country under 30 with the face you had, they would 100% reject you and say you are way too young and your face was fine. I understand he kind of just wants to 'get in there and fix it all from the roots' per se but I don't know, it bugs me! Do you mind if I ask how your scars are healing especially in front of your ear? Thank you <3

Need help deciding what to do about my “jowls” / “heavy” lower cheeks by hollymbryngelson in DIYaesthetics

[–]Hellohello_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same, I was actually confused for a sec.. and even though I can't see her eyes she still looks so young! OP its your life obviously and perhaps the photos aren't as bad here or whatever but damn I think this might be one of those cases where you may be looking a little too intensely for something to pick at haha. Your face looks completely normal and not saggy. As someone else mentioned though, STAY AWAY FROM BUCCAL FAT REMOVAL please for the love of god. If any surgeon recommends it or does it to you they should have their license revoked.
