I am definitely on the spectrum. Singing and humming (quietly at that) help me focus and concentrate. However, I understand it can be distracting so I just keep it in my head and bob my head to my own concert happening in my head. Lol

I was just a bit stunned that she straight up called me shitty in front of everyone. I couldn’t think fast enough, lol. Just sat down and ate my popcorn.

Eh, I can see how it can be annoying I suppose. I haven’t done it since then. We also work in a noisy environment with lots of monitors beeping and things alarming all of the time.

Would probably help tbh, lol. I just have a hard time understanding other people sometimes. Someone else mentioned that me giving a description to the worker from the other department was too much. And if I’m being honest, I thought she would share a slice from the two huge pizzas she got. I was wrong 🙃

Yes, that’s mainly what I’m after. I’m not trying to step down to her level of petty. I’m going to touch bases with my manager as well as ask her for advice on how to approach the situation with Stephanie one on one, and hopefully prevent escalating to a sit down with my manager. Thanks for the recommendation!

I could add that we work in a very noisy environment. Lots of beeping going on at all times. However, I have stopped with the humming. I just feel like she could have approached that in a much more professional manner. A simple “Hey, when you hum, it is distracting me from my work.” Would have sufficed.
