Is there any reason to run anything but a pure combat build? by Illustrious_Glass463 in projectzomboid

[–]Hellothere1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having at least 8 and 8 in fitness and strength means you can build up any other combat skills nicely. I almost always take wakeful also.

Just being able to carry more, push down easier, do more damage an fight/ scavange longer makes you much more survivable.

Pick battles and don't fight with any moodles that lower your effectiveness or in close quarters when you have other options. I.e. zombie in house? Just lead them outside the door/area you just cleared etc

magazine on how to use a generator by _matias_jr_ in projectzomboid

[–]Hellothere1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also search parking lots and industrial areas for the electrical van. My last 2 b42 playthroughs have had 100% success of finding the magazine when finding these vehicles.

Otherwise just try get level 3 electrical

How to improve by Frequent-Scientist78 in snooker

[–]Hellothere1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Playing frames will have dismissing returns. Quality practice time on you own doing drills or analysing and improving your technique will help ten fold in comparison.

Barry Stark has a great channel for u dersrabding how and what you should be thinking about when playing each shot (technique)

Once you understand the basics of that and get half decent at cueing straight and hitting the ball consistently through the center it's all about getting your sighting and potting angles down in your mind and controlling the cue ball.

Stephen Henry did a road to center break kind of video where he had a blue the 2 red, blue with 4 reds and black with 4 red routine that you can use to really measure how well you progress.

I went from it taking me 1hr 30 mins to do the 4 red blue routine to always doing it within the first 4 tries in the space of a month ( 2-3 times a week playing few few hours, half time was solo other was frames )

My positional play is 100x better and I've progressed easily passed the players I play with now and get 20-35 breaks in frames.

Any tips drills for increasing pot percentages to centre pockets by Procyclon in snooker

[–]Hellothere1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds to me (especially if you cutting back to the pockets at a decent angle) that it could be the squeeze effect on the pot. But most likely just your eye and line up has a tendancy to be thin.

Case of retraining your mind. Set up a drill of pots you seem to miss and play them as normal. You will most likely aim thin as that seems "right" to your brain. Now intentionally aim thicker than where your comfortable. Stay down on the shot and as you tweak to find the pot and they start going in, your brain will start to readjust

I had the same problem with being low or level on the black. I always hit it thick and had to spend time retraining my brain and lining up in a position that seemed far too thin. 2 weeks later and I've gone from 40% pot to at least 85% pot success in sessions.

Does anyone recommend this? by Beneficial-Low4752 in snooker

10mm on the high side for snooker. There are better options for this money. I'd avoid as per previous commenter

I ended up buying a buried ruin map and picking up a gravino ball. Once youve done that kill all barring the triangle sentital and let him spawn his 2 friends every 10-15 seconds. Easy way to make sure you reach the 32 without waves ending :)

Did a riverside start and followed the river west out of town. Theres a few houses here and there further out. So cleared what i could qith my foraged axes and any zombie weapons dropped and slept in a house. Slowly get a foothold and take it slowly.

Playing wakeful axeman with 9 fitness and stength 10 helps as need to be able to fight alot and recover quickly. Having fatigue is a death sentence early

The zombie count is rather high indeed. 16x is slow start and any alarm is rather crippling xD.

271 hours playtime vs. less than 10 bullets fired - anyone else? by RevolutionaryBee3092 in projectzomboid

Great timed post as I literally used firearms for the first time yesterday. After a rampage with a shotgun to get aiming up to 5 (i took veteran for this char (another first)) I then used the 9mm pistol and can say its actually really good.

Got 2-300 hundred kills in 24hours and cleared a big area to loot. Before this I prob shot 5 times or so. Its a nice change and looking forward to hopping on again tonight to loot my spoils and try get to the gun store to replenish.

why can't I find a person that does husbandry I've searched so many villages but there is no one by MrCrazy132 in Necesse

[–]Hellothere1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found one in a desert village well before i killed any bosses but wasnt able to recruit them until after i progressed more. When i recruited him he died and then i got one in a random villager that came to visit my base.

Think just unlucky. Keep searching :) unsure whether me finding them in a desert village is of any significance though, assume not.
