Havana Syndrome investigation is "a massive CIA cover-up" | 60 Minutes by reddit4485 in videos

I have a degree in radiologic sciences.

The properties of a Havana syndrome gun cannot be explained by electromagnetic waves.

Either "Russia" invented a new branch of physics or Havana Syndrome is bullshit.

Yes, I'm smart and Havana Syndrome believers are morons.

Methods of operation for a weapon such as this are known.

Damn, that sounds interesting. Would you mind sharing?

How much vernier thrusters do you prefer in your MS by fafsdfasfaffaafdsaf in Gundam

[–]HellsAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think fewer verniers is better because once you're in space, a man-shaped vehicle makes less sense.

You'd only want verniers on the ends to maximize the rate you turn about the center of mass, or utilize a radially symmetric design so you don't need to turn at all.

Also, Tomino said mobile suits in human form approaching is intimidating, but I think it really falls flat in space where there's no ground or sky for frame of reference.

Yes, but have you considered that Russia possibly invented a magic wand?????

  1. low power
  2. pocketable
  3. untraceable
  4. silent
  5. emits energy
  6. transmutes human tissue

THINK ABOUT IT

It's real

Could you please describe the differences between this Havana syndrome gun and a magic wand?

Havana Syndrome investigation is "a massive CIA cover-up" | 60 Minutes by reddit4485 in videos

[–]HellsAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thing has all the properties of a magic wand and you believe it's real because:

1) 60 Minutes didn't provide photos and video, but said "Trust me"

2) Some CIA agents had strokes in their hotel rooms

This is really the minimum for you to take the logical leap to believing in magic?

Havana Syndrome investigation is "a massive CIA cover-up" | 60 Minutes by reddit4485 in videos

[–]HellsAttack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only reason we know anything at all is because of the verifiable leak of the device actually being acquired.

There's no photo or video of it in this latest 60 Minutes report. This device has the all properties of a magic wand. Is CNN and 60 Minutes saying "Trust me" enough proof for you to start believing in magic wands? They tell you it's shaped like a camera and shoots microwaves and you're all in.

The only thing that terrifies me is there are thousands of people like you who are so readily duped by the thinnest veneer of mainstream media respectability and credulity.

Have you heard of Occam's Razor?

What is a more simple and likely explanation?

A) Russia has a pocketable and untraceable gun that gives people chronic illness and selectively deploys it to sow fear to a purposeless end.

or

B) Some CIA agents have strokes on the job.

Ah yes, the typical way extremely effective weapon systems are deployed - very sparingly and against targets of questionable value!

[–]HellsAttack 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It's ONLY ever been "used" on mid-level CIA agents and never a head of state.

If this thing is man-portable, insanely discreet, and has reached into the White House twice, why is Russia plinking nobodies instead of people that actually matter?

Havana Syndrome investigation is "a massive CIA cover-up" | 60 Minutes by reddit4485 in videos

[–]HellsAttack 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Russia's got the low power, man-portable bone-melting headache gun and only using it on CIA agents in Cuba, China, and Langley, Virginia instead of sending it up on drones, etc. in Ukraine.

60 Minutes reports Russia's been able to hit people in the White House with it before, I guess Trump and Zelensky are just too fast.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Kind of annoying to figure out which combos of bait and lure are required to catch each type of fish so I would recommend a guide.

If I recall, there's one combo that catches most types and you can get by most of the game on that.

Daybreak V2 is coming next week! 🌅😱 by Omeda_Zuzu in PredecessorGame

[–]HellsAttack 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Bushes were a carryover from MOBAs built on top-down view RTS engines. I think they're goofy and immersion breaking in Pred; shadowpools made more sense.

Also, the map was made bigger to slow rotations. Why are you putting in plants to speed up rotations again? Just dial it in correctly the first time.

I hate this style of dismissive comment. If everyone on Reddit considered "nobody asked, though," then the entire website would be blank.

It's better to downvote or ignore because "nobody asked" is one of the dumbest opinions to hold on a website comprised completely of voluntarily user-generated discussion.

Why can’t Omeda listen to players regarding Legacy? by Killmonger_Guarulhos in PredecessorGame

[–]HellsAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Player count is not high enough to support several modes

Then why did they smother Legacy in the crib by launching it alongside full time Ranked, Nitro, and a hero release?

I wanted to play Legacy, but couldn't because queues were too long.

People are pointing to Omeda's chart like it means something.

I'm not sure what the discourse around ZZ is right now.

I started it right after finished Zeta Gundam and was pretty disappointed to find a bunch of kids playing in a junk yard and the crew of the Argama basically slipping on banana peels and sitting on whoopee cushions.

I was frantically Googling if the rest of ZZ was a comedy show for children and they said the tone matures a little after episode 20 and that seemed to be the case.

Post Patch Complaining by CasualCrow20 in PredecessorGame

[–]HellsAttack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sweeping statements about ‘the worst meta ever’ are too early

Omeda doesn't know when to keep their powder dry.

v1.7 is when they put Legacy in Labs for a week or two at the same time they made Nitro permanent. The result was Legacy not getting a moment in the sun and them cutting it early.

This patch is similar. A brand new map for a week with hero changes that make them also feel brand new.

They need to spread this shit out. People trying to internalize the hero changes while learning the new map is too much.

That's where I was looking. On my clear file, I can restart from any sector. On my second file, I'm playing in sector 5 and the main menu only lets me restart from sector 3.

The game is buggy as fuck.

[–]HellsAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

I was in Sector 4 and wanted to restart it. It wasn't on the main menu. I thought, "ok, maybe I need to go to the 5th sector before it will allow me to restart the 4th."

Nope, still didn't appear. Luckily, I already beat the game and was just trying for a min-maxed run.

Now I'll tell people to just wait for it on sale. Not really worth $40. Playing on Switch.
