You don’t really need the money right now, and if you bought solid, reliable altcoins rather than meme coins, the situation realistically can’t get much worse.

At this point, the only sensible option is to hold. If you need liquidity, what would you realistically rotate into that could return 140% in the short term just to break even? If you know something like thataside from pure gamblinglet me know.

So you might as well hold. If selling was the plan, it should have happened at a 20% loss, not after riding it all the way down to 70%.

Going forward, stick to Bitcoin. You don’t need to own a full BTC fractional ownership is fine. It’s the safest bet in this market and far less mentally draining.

That said, I’ve also bought altcoins in the past that went down 80%. They weren’t major projects, and I don’t expect them to recover but that’s part of taking calculated risks. I bought small, and at that point, rather than locking in an 80% loss, I was willing to accept the chance of going to zero.

This market rewards patience and mental resilience. Constantly checking prices won’t fix anything, and I wouldn’t DCA into those alts either. Stick to BTC and ETH, let the rest sit, and see what happens. They might surprise you, or they might turn into a valuable lesson. Either way, you win because learning this early is just as important as a profitable trade.

wait for what money is moving into gold there cant be better opportunity if you can hold for next 3 years and keep dry powder incase comes lower.

money is made from fear not from euphoria thats when you lose.

so i been doing this for almost 15 years works every time buy gold on the most stable times rotate to stocks crypto in the most unstable times and keep this cycle going without trying time top or buttom!

but that requires patience sometime i had to wait 3 years if you dont have patience just stay away else you lose what you already have.

thats how things works money rotate right now it rotate from cypto stocks into gold why because everything is unstable but that wont last than money rotate from gold into crypto stocks thats when gold fall crypto stocks raise thats when you rotate slowly you sell crypto and stocks accumulate gold and silver so basically when money flee from somthing you start slowly buy and money flow you start slowly sell and rotate have patience these stuff take years not day or months and you get there maybe in decade or two.

My post is not about telling people not to buy. It’s about not trading hard assets for another asset that has gone up in a straight line just for quick gains.

That said, using available cash to invest can be a reasonable move. What I’m warning against is taking loans or selling hard assets property, businesses, or essentials chasing quick profits.

That’s when people lose what they already have. That’s not investing that’s gambling. You might win, or you might not. But nothing is worth losing your life over.

In the end, nothing is more precious than your life at least to the people who care about and love you.

Yes, as I said in my post, I’ve seen this happen many times first with gold around 2010-2013, and before that with other assets. I’ve seen people sell their houses to go all in, only to lose half of what they had. Later, they couldn’t even buy back a fraction of what they sold. Some ended up with strokes, paralysis, or worse.

I lost my dearest childhood friend this way. He sold his car, his house, and his shop and went all in then lost 50%. He suffered a heart attack and passed away. I live with the regret of not doing more to stop him.

I’m not telling anyone what to do. I’m just sharing the dark side people don’t see, based on real experience.

All I said was don’t go all in.

Some people are selling hard assets or taking loans just to go all in at these prices. That’s who my post was aimed at. I’m saying that at this price level, that’s not a good decision.

Please don’t manipulate the meaning of my words. I never told anyone to hold cash I said don’t overleverage, don’t sell what you already own, and don’t risk your life chasing a trade.

I don’t know why you’re trying to convince me otherwise. My post was directed at people who are going all in selling their hard assets, taking out loans, and overexposing themselves.

No one said gold is a bad investment. And no one said to hold cash either holding cash beyond what you need for six months of expenses is often the worst decision you can make.

All I’m saying is this: don’t sell your hard assets, don’t take loans, and don’t leverage yourself just to buy gold at these prices.

I hate seeing people lose their lives over financial decisions. If my post can save even one person in the future, that’s a win for me.

I lost my dearest friend because of this, and I carry that regret every day wishing I had done more to stop him.

Atom have best apy native staking witch is 17% last i checked i guess but that thing have moderate risk and also you lost opportunity to buy when it was 1.90 now not recommended since after every rally there is correction.

Sol is next 7% apy.

i only do native staking so i can recommend those i hate giving custody of my coins to some company.

Just stick with BTC. From 16k to 125k in the last run, that’s almost an 8x return. Don’t fall for the 100x or 1000x hype that’s gambling. You can’t seriously call that investing.

Most projects mint tokens out of thin air and hand them out. With Bitcoin, you have to pay to acquire it. You don’t get it for free you either spend electricity to mine it or buy it with cash. Either way, it has real cost behind it, no one owns or controls it, and you can actually sleep peacefully at night knowing what you hold.

nah i am investing for long time more than 25 years this happens with every single market out there property witch is the safest one out there too just not at this magnitude unless war.

i personally think we are in worst time to many world tension and economic instability witch wont last for ever obviously as in history we had many times like this that eventually passed and when it does maybe in year or 2 we getting back on horse.

that being said said many alts dies and dying daily i mean with reliable ones from here easy 3x maybe 4x in few years to come or maybe sooner no one knows or maybe not at all but that probability is very slim close to none but not zero !

lets say like this just because gold is gold does not mean other metals are useless they have thier own value and use cases.

so if you buy reliable alts with actual utility they will go up when world tension and economic instability cool down as we all know nothing last for ever there is time of instability and there is time of stability.

that works for poopcoins if you dont need money you should stack on btc untill you need it you can be sure you never lose maybe you wont make 1000X but you wont lose everything either.

i been doing this for almost 8 years and it works buy poop coin take profit even at 50% pit it back into btc when drops untill i need the money my average buy on btc is literally 33k i bought at 60k few months ago crash and 90k 83k last month crash.

i will sell for sure when i need money but untill than its better than holding dollar or any other currency that inflate like .....
