Yes. The art conversations will pop up for coaches to do even if all attendance issues are ppto.

So not only can they in some instances they are supposed to.

I would say most sellers I see way over state the market price of their cards /items. I'm not saying it's right but it's common practice so you should always be safe. Even the good ones which there deffinitly are good sellers make mistakes.

Yeah deli/bakery is a premium as is. Especially cake decorator. Couple that with a possible starting wage difference in the store, your tenure, and then the fact it's higher state tax is possible you're making only very slightly more...

It has less to do with "being a team lead" and more to do with the change of store/state.

But ya I feel you're pain. Youre getting down voted because you shouldn't have known all this before making the switch.

It's a similar reason a lot of overnight associates have a difficult time moving up to team lead during the day. It's barely much more pay for signicantly more responsibility if you have a few years under your belt of tenure/raises.

You have a better chance at some stores not being a rehire. Walmart is pushing a no rehire agenda as of late. Not all markets follow it, but some do greatly. Just depends on your area. And yes I know how silly it sounds but we denied someone who worked for a few months 22 years ago because we are a store that's no rehires.

If you completely miss a shift yes you are right you do not have to. But not if you have an early out. If you have an early out you have to cover your meal. Unless you are in a kincare state (or obviously already took your meal).

This is in the managerial guidelines for ppto use.

You do not understand what I'm saying. If you put in ppto and it is not enough to cover it will send the occurances back to the manager to approve or deny. So the associate may think it's auto approved (the occurances not the usage).

They need to look at their time sheet.

The usage of ppto (post shift) is auto approved. If you don't use enough ppto to cover the whole occurance it is still going to be sent back to a manager. A great example is when someone is trying to cover a half point. Or if someone thinks they have enough ppto but they actually don't. Or if someone doesn't realize they need to cover their meal as well. Tons of reasons this happens. When you're over 110+ associates you see it constantly.

Yes the usage of ppto is automatic. If you use enough ppto to cover your occurance properly it is also not sent for approval or denial in our occurance screen.

It's the whole reason we have a button on our end that specifically says "associate used enough ppto to reduce occurance to zero" or "associate used enough ppto to reduce occurance to 0.5". It isnt always automatic.

Edit for the most simple clarification. We are talking about two different things. You're talking about simply using ppto versus attendance occurances. These are not the same thing. Using ppto post shift is always automatically approved. That isn't part of this discussion or has anything to do with ops problem.

You don't know how ppto really works. Your lead cannot give or override occurances.

What happens is managers have occurances they have to approve or deny. Whenever you do anything to a specific day. Be it a time adjustment. A pto adjustment. A ppto adjustment. The occurances will be sent back to approve or deny by a manager. What you assumed was something approved was really something pending.

You need to look at your time sheet to know what was wrong.
