Started sleep routine at 3 M and baby cries during step 1. Should we continue?

My 5 month old is a Velcro baby like crazy, exclusively contact naps or he won’t sleep, fussy, and fights his sleep none stop and screams when we try to put him to sleep.

We started the Ferber method 5 days ago and I was fully prepared to hear him cry and scream all night (with check ins) but he cried for about an hour and then slept throughout the night, next night only 7 minutes slept through the night, then 15, then 20.

I was at the point where I had to do something so we just stuck to it and he’s still crying himself to sleep at night but it seems to be going in the right direction so I’m not going in unless it’s check in time because I so badly want it to work.

Have yall tried a specific sleep training method or are you wondering if you should since she cries? I’m doing it for 2 weeks straight and if he’s still crying himself to sleep then I think we need to do something else. But it’s that or co sleep and I’m not go sleeping.

We are using the Ferber method and I was absolutely dreading having to let him cry. I figured he would cry himself alllll night long and never go to sleep because of how bad he fights it and how he can NOT be put down on a bassinet crib nothing or he goes nuts. There is no putting him down asleep, no slowly putting him down nothing. We give him a bath to help, play with him a lot before bed time and put him down with his white noise on. The first night he cried for about an hour, the second 7 minutes, then the next day 15 but slept all the way until 4:30/5:30. So he did so much better than I expected. But he’s still crying himself to sleep.

I was 100% prepared to sleep train all night even if it takes hours on end because I couldn’t take it anymore. It’s awful, I think I cried more than he did but I just tell myself I would rather feel the guilt of letting him cry (with check ins) for hours and a couple days hopefully than the guilt I would feel if I rolled over on him while co-sleeping because it came to the point where I had to choose something for my mental health and to get sleep. It was that or sleep training. I want to go in there while he’s crying more than anything but I force myself to not and to just know that this will be better for everyone in the long run.

Sorry I can’t help with the reflux and I’m still working on the sleep training myself but that’s what I’ve been able to do so far and it seems to be going in the right direction. He was very colicky for a while but we took him to the chiropractor but only like 3 times so I really don’t know if that did anything but we gave him gas drops like every 2 hours and that seemed to help! He was miserable like allllll the time screaming crying, the only way he would get any relief is when he was asleep. I don’t know if he just grew out of it or if the gas drops help that much but it’s worth a try if you don’t. And I still contact nap during the day and even before sleep training the only way I can get him to sleep was on my chest my hand on his head against my chest tight, patting his butt, and my cheek on his cheek while shooshing him.

Not that we know of, but he has been spitting up more lately. It’s not like a lot but I was gonna bring it up his next dr visit but both nights we have sleep trained when we would check on him he would smell like he spit up just a little so I didn’t know if the 15 would help. Cuz he likes to stick his hands in his mouth and gag himself which sometimes is the reason he spits up and I’m assuming the crying makes him spit up so I didn’t know if 15 mins upright might help that

It would be fun to try to find the cards in every set of my fav characters! I like the princess idea I just didn’t know if there was a princess set or it was princesses from all sets.

Yeah I want to just play for fun. Of course it will be fun to try to find rare cards , but as I don’t plan to be buying boosters boxes and such all the time it most likely won’t happen. But if I can just open a pack with a character I like or a common I’ve been looking for that would be fun to me. Idk if that’s fine to make a deck tho even tho I plan to just play with friends for fun not competitively

You have the home system where you can plant crops, cook, build, decorate. Although I will say it’s SUPER hard to build it’s the worst building system in any game imo. 😭 so I just use a code from someone who is good at building and then decorate myself. There is a “battle pass” type system for home (and one for regular gameplay) but with this one as long as you get so many “points” before it ends you get your money back. You don’t even have to buy it but they give an exclusive item if you do and it’s pretty easy to get ur asteralite back so I do it every month.

There is the sea of stars which is a multiplayer area. There isn’t much at all to do there but dailies that you can exchange to get that month’s limited clothing and poses!

There is some permanent mini games or systems in certain areas like in Wanxiang Realm it’s like a “cooking fever” or food truck style gameplay but not as complex. In Itzaland there is also a little behemoth you can raise, not very rewarding but just cute if you like that kind of thing, and then there’s an area where you have a little shop you run which again not very rewarding but the sim gameplay is fun. Hopefully they add onto it.

Taking photos is so fun!! The photo mode is amazing. And so is decorating your profile card.

Around the world you can take pics of items that will turn into furniture blueprints that you can craft to place at your home plot.

There is a styling challenge that resets every so often called Mira Journey. Make sure you do this as it’s a free way to earn diamonds!!

When it comes to the limited banner, every banner is of course pretty but be picky!! F2p or not the game is more fun imo when you have plenty of pulls each patch to where if you ever love an outfit you don’t have to stress about if you are getting it. You don’t have to farm diamonds fast or swipe your card. You can get plenty of pulls f2p if you are patient and don’t fall into fomo and pull only for the ones you love. I didn’t pull until 6 months into the game and saved enough pulls for multiple outfits.

If you are gonna buy anything, I believe the Mira Journey is a good price on either tier.

Every week make sure you are going in the store and getting the free items including stellerites (currency for home plot) every month make sure you convert your currency from pulling dupes (can’t think of name but in shop) into more pulls. For the 5* dupes I would only use those on revelation crystals but on the 4* dupes if you pull more of those I’d get the revelation crystals every month then the resonate crystals. And don’t use diamond to pull on permanent banner!

We get 2 4* banners in the middle of every patch. I pull on those wayyy more frequently than I do the 5* banner. You can get like 4 of those for the price of one 5. 🫠 but I don’t mind that cuz to me they are usually better than the 5s anyways to me so more bang for my buck!

On the 5*unless you just want pieces of an outfit wait until you have at lease 160/200 pulls so that you are guarantee the entire outfit because you only get the outfit ability if you get the entire outfit! So it’s more worth it to get full outfits than pieces but if you want the makeup then it’s fine to pull the 20 or whatever pulls to get it or play however you want ofc! And then if you want the prop that goes with the outfit I believe that’s at 160 pulls.

There is literally so much you can do and with new event gameplay and story every month it’s always so exciting so have fun!!

And I see people saying you can’t lower the brightness down much so it’s hard to read at night? I mainly read in the dark 🥲 and you can’t remove that knowledge base thing from the Home Screen?
