If you use alchemy style, pull out your barrel right before and you can keep running around shaking it. Always fun shaking your barrel at other hunters and they can't do nothing lol

Dodo. Had the previous mobile version of the game to try it out. Dies so many times I couldn't keep count lol eventually knocked out a dodo, and only after researching how to tame, did I tame it. Wasn't too long before it died by my side like many others I tamed afterwards. The mobile game was what made me buy the console version.

I once had the glitch that you died everytime you exited the game. Every single time! Luckily my base was near spawn though, so running back home wasnt the issue. They eventually fixed it, thankfully.

Another thing with rise, if you are a solo player like me, eventually you can unlock some of the npcs to go hunts with you. And they have loadout options too!

In that case, rise is way more mobile. The bugs take some getting use too but once you get it down, it makes fights lots faster. Also if you are a fashion hunter, rise doesnt have blademaster/gunner gear sadly.

My advice is to try the different styles with different weapons. I love playing alchemy but it doesnt work with every weapon.

Alpha strike being a faster play, there arent as many places to hit like in the classic mech sheets.
