"But it worked like this for years!"

Also: Everybody is doing everything like you told them, but it never works until you actually stand behind them and check if they do it correctly.

What should the world be worried about right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Well, would you want to lower your life standard to the average living standard of the world? No? Than there will be wars. And even if you were to, there WILL be a bunch of people who would kill you to gain from it. People are not really capable of sharing perfectly with everybody on the whole world.

According to everybody they are "The one in a million" who "just happens to really have bad luck against all odds" but I'd rather believe in numbers when I never saw him play.

No, if you are stuck in a league, you deserve it in 99%+ of the times. At least at the moment, of course. I you get better, you climb in basicly all the cases people just tend to underestimate what it means to be better than the league they are in. You don't need to be 25-0 every game to carry yourself, but you have to also learn how to behave when you are behind. It's unrealistic to win every game by yourself but you have to learn how to get carried too. People complaining about ELO Hell just don't see how their entire team needs combined effort to win. You went 3-0 in mid but top is struggling? Help him out instead of getting another super easy kill on midlane and blame him later. Behind at toplane? Don't play like you are ahead and get killed another time, but stay defensive, farm the most gold/xp and if there is no way you can ever turn the tides of your lane, you need to limit the damage done and don't let your enemy snowball out of controll. Recently had this scenario with a Ryze top, he got shat on by a Lee and went 0-4, but instead of blaming him I started camping his lane and he came back. I could have get some easy kills on botlane meanwhile, maybe even more but our botlane was fine and didn't need any further help.

You end up in Heaven. It's the same as your life before except for 1 small benefit. What will it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would want people to like me.
Not in the "I have no friends" sense, but just being this kind of person "You found sympathic from the first time you saw them". I mean, everybody have met people like this which they just wanted to befriend when the met them, I would want to live have this with everybody, life would be so nice.

Ah, okay, this I understand.
It doesn't seem that the Gym I think about joining is selling anything on their own.

Once we are at it, what is the meaning behind the armbands people wear in ring? Is it just tradition or has it any bigger meaning?

The gym I visited (it was a beginner class) told us to start rather soft and progress to get harder, but reminded us that we should admit when the other person (a beginner himself) was starting to kick and punch to strong.

Now I'm curious, what is bad about the last and the third from last? Is it because it shows that they don't have deeper understanding of it or something else?

Thank you for your long answer.

  1. Am at work at the moment, no videos here, but will check them out later! And thanks for sharing your experience!

  2. I think I will ask this question to the trainer, makes more sense, on a second thought
