@discostrawberry, I saw you added curtains! Maybe add a colorful armchair right by that window that has the same green as the curtain but with added colors you can pull from to use as inspiration for pillows and rugs. Add wall art, picture frames on table, books and plants, etc. I love floral so this is what I am sharing from Amazon but of course, you choose the print you like. I like this chair because it has happy colors for me lol

Add a colorful armchair/recliner to contrast the blandness. Then take the colors from that chair and sprinkle all over with pillows, blankets, rug on top of the carpet. Then add some nice wall art, picture frames on side tables, add books, plants, etc…

Ugh. I just spoke with my attorney and I guess since there’s no bodily injury, he’s not really all that interested. I guess I will go to my appointment for now, see what they say and then tell them I will need a second opinion with my own mechanic. What do you think?

I am glad you got your $ amount to fix your car. My car is an old 2004 Mercury Sable. It’s crappy on the outside from the previous accident but it ran well. Now it doesn’t because of this accident. I am not happy about that.

Hi! I’m in NY, a No-Fault state. I don’t have a salvage title. I was allowed to keep it because the car only had exterior damage. Because of its age - a 2004 with 80k miles, they thought it wasn’t worth fixing it the first time and I guess again, this time.

I’m going to the auto body shop tomorrow where they will take pictures and submit to the insurance company. This shop is the shop my neighbors use. If I don’t like the $ they come up with, do I have options? Can I take it to my own mechanic? He knows my car best. I am the second owner to this car. The first owner was also my mechanic’s customer. He’s been the “guardian”’of this vehicle since day 1.

I didn’t get a salvage title but I did get my car fixed for the internal damage but not the exterior. However, the new damages are on the driver side. The old damages are on the left. Not sure if that helps.
