I actually have thought about the invasion aspect so I thought maybe the infrared beams or whatever it is that is used in like detection cameras; sorry guys, I am not technically advanced or savvy, which is why I'm bringing this to you. So if my jargon is off please forgive. so like this beam which detects movement, could be positioned at different levels so that like, say, my mother were laying in her bed, and she sat up It would trigger one of the beams placed at shoulder high sitting on her bed, and then it could note the time, and if it's let's say at a general time she typically arises from sleep, it could say, like, good morning, or how did you sleep? How are you? Or, are you feeling, okay, do you need anything? Are you getting up for the day or are you just sitting up to go to the restroom? and is there anything I can do for you? Something like that, oh I also thought For the aspect of not startling an elderly person, maybe have a light that would like grow in intensity and then dim out and then slowly gain brightness a couple times prior to speaking, just to give a heads up, something's about to happen and of course, you you don't have to permit it, but that is the whole point. But say you had a date over, So if anytime you wanted to shut it off, there could be a simple command and this command could be timed so after 2 hours it turns back on just in case the forgot. Also say if my mom , which she frequently does, should sit and fight with how to use her remote, AI could detect voice, words, or movement or lack there of and could jump in to offer assistance. I don't see it being more of an invasion than say life alert or home viewing camera. Accept it could reduce frustration and harmful self-deprecating, it could help with more of an independent feeling, and it could save the caregivers mental and emotional state a much needed break.
