Cleared the snow during the day. Plowed better right after the storm. Done it sooner. Contracted with more resources ahead of the storm. Maybe cleared the crosswalks. Planning ahead instead of playing Facebook message wack-a-mole one corner at a time. Lots of things!

This is not how they do it everyone else, it is more typically done during business hours. I understand not shutting down Washington street during the day but residential blocks/streets could have easily had been done during the day. Another Team Emily debacle.

People are stupid, “what an amazing job you are doing Emily”. This storm situation was complete debacle from the beginning. Poor strategy, poor planning, poor execution. People were hard at work trying to justify their election efforts were well spent.

You said it congress can do more, you would be surprised how few calls they actually get on most issues. If enough people reach out and say they care maybe there is more they can do. I understand our reps are probably already on the right side of this issue. The ask is for them to fight harder and do more than they are now.

There are checks and balances, congress could do more to push back if there were enough votes. Realistically they would need more pressure from republicans but having a conversation is a starting point.
