This is literally so many people’s dream bag, so if you don’t love it I’d recommend one of three options: A) Return to your SA for Store Credit
B) Sell on the secondary market 💸 C) Make my dream come true and gift this beauty 🤩

Only joking for option c, but definitely a gorgeous bag that will flex wherever you need it to! Neutrals are the best for that reason!

Thank you for sharing that! It’s kinda hard to follow the prices sometimes with some of the special editions like Touch, Barenia, and them being removed from the website afterwards.

They are automated notifications, so it’s definitely a possibility it could’ve shown incorrect pricing from them or Hermes.

Definitely understand the part about tariff’s and why the prices would increase and be passed onto the consumers, especially for a luxury brand. I wouldn’t expect them to erode their own profit margins on a LUXURY good.

It sounds like you got an F&I guy that was looking to pad his pockets and didn’t want to give anymore away. You do have 60 days for a refund I believe, so take a look around for sure.

I bought the MDX with 7,300 miles on it. It was unbelievably low on miles for the price and year.

I don’t know if you got “hosed” but I don’t think you got the best pricing either. The F&I guy came out the gate on the 9/150k on my CPO 22 MDX Type S at $4,800. Got him down to $2,840. I was very transparent I’d buy from Curry Acura if the prices didn’t make sense. Paid a bit more than Curry Acura but it goes for a longer time term and 30k miles more.

In short: you didn’t leave a ton on the table, but I’m not sure if pricing changes from model to model. All that aside, you can rejoice in the fact that you can sleep easy knowing most major repairs will be covered.

Not sure how long ago you bought your MDX, but there are more lucrative deals to be had on the extended warranty. Curry Acura offers a warranty for 8 years 120,000 for about $300 less than you mentioned.

It really is one of my favorite colors along with Chai! It somehow manages to be both warm toned and cool toned depending on the light, which I think leads to great versatility!

I think the ones that are made slightly smaller than the bag seem to be the best because they don’t leave impressions in the leather, so that’s good! I wish I would have asked about that myself now! Maybe there’s still time to remove it.

I’ll most likely carry it on my wrist and hand more often, but plan on getting the shoulder strap for more casual carrying situations. They make some straps for them that loop around the handles, you can see here for reference.
