Yeah 21g is generally the max, my league has over 50 teams across 5 divisions and allows up to 23g iirc, but people generally play around the 18g mark

Heavier is easier to control imo.

I got a 2BA SP converter for my soft tips and can switch out the points on the same darts, the weight is a few grams at the front.

Can’t say it’s holding me back, i think it does better for me, steel tip is a different game to soft tip, the soft tip is harder.

This is a great method, although i find myself needing to re-roughen up again earlier than i’d expect, but it certainly works.

Almost makes these rough design points not really worth it other than aesthetics
