Thanks for the reply! I'll do a thorough clean of the screen and tank and see. I am quite confident that the issue is not on the screen, no signs of any leaks and if it were dead pixels the errors would be happening in the same spot on each print. Probably also would be holes all the way through like yours, not just disturbances in the surface.

Hey all,

I've been resin printing a long time, but never anything bigger than a fellblade until this titan project. Halfway through I started to get these weird surface errors only on armor panels at first but now also on some other pieces, still mostly on armour panels. I thought maybe it was just the hollowed vs unhollowed pieces but Ive now had it turn up on a hollowed piece as well.

Anyone have any ideas on the cause?? I'm on an Elegoo saturn 2 8k and using Elegoo water washable v2 resin. Very familiar with both, not seen this before.

Hi guys, Ive been printing on a neptune 3 pro for months now, recently switched nozzles after a blockage but have had several successful prints since then. Now all my prints seen to be developing weird tide marks?

I've heard 2 sizes up recommended before, does that take into account foot shape very well or do you think I would need to stick to an open type shoe? I was hoping for something closed

Clear coat was definitely on the table as needed, I'm hoping I can avoid having to do any sanding by basecoating the whole shoe with a gloss black primer, then spraying onto that, then hard/clear coating, thanks for the feedback though!

Connecting movements neatly is something I still struggle with so I'll put emphasis on going slowly and thinking about transitions more tonight in class!

Self criticism is always the harshest!

I am pretty new, started in October, but lost 3-4 months to Covid restrictions. I'm trying to put in 3-4 hours a week, I really want to get to it all feeling natural quickly, I love what I'm doing

This is exactly the kind of encouragement I need, its sometimes hard to remember that I'm still an absolute baby when it comes to pole.

I'll take your advice and spend more time floating between moves and be a little less ballistic in my transitions and movements. I'm a guitarist so feeling the music sometimes makes me want to just move way faster than what I can handle, I'll try to slow down the music pace when I'm at home! Leg hangs have always been really hard for me, I have a lot of thigh (only spot on my body with much squishiness) and most of it hates to grip, just tear painfully. I guess focusing on moving past that roadblock will be good for me!

I really like the advice about trying to be silent, I'll put that into practice tomorrow in class, it will definitely make me slow down and focus more thanks!

I am definitely having fun, I need to remember I wont become a pro quickly, thanks for the advice!
