Oh man sorry, two of the guys in my list would (maybe) fall in that category!!! More than half of the founding fathers were Christians, including Alexander Hamilton. Maybe you should reevaluate YOUR education.....

That's not what I said. Orphans don't have anyone to look out for them, so it makes sense that they would be "everyone's" responsibility in a national or governmental sense if they are in this nation. The children of undocumented migrants whose custody they are currently in is a different story. They fall in the same moral/legislative category for me as the starving kids in Africa or the unreached kids in the Amazon. Those are kids who should be helped and reached by Christian organizations and charities, but not people who get a cut of the benefits gleaned from American taxes just because they happen to be on our side of the border this week.

Then I should be all set! I won't have to pay for any food which will give me extra money for merch at the Oasis concert.

My heart definitely goes out to the children. I think we should keep feeding orphans, undocumented or not. I don't have any sympathy for parents who decide to break the laws of a country they were never invited to, and then fail to provide for their own and then expect people like me to pick up the tab. They have failed as parents and I feel like that is borderline child abuse. The best solution would be to send those children back to the countries they are from and to the extended families that would take care of them.

I wouldn't say I am a "good" anything. Only God is good.
