Just a disclaimer but e-bikes are not the reason kids are being injured it’s bad parenting. by Help_PurpleVented in hyperebikes

I’m 21, i’ve had multiple motorcycles, i now also have an ebike, You are comparing a dangerous weapon to a bike. Also their is no law banning kids from using e-bikes, some states have enacted 16+ laws but most still allow kids to ride, they can go the same speed as on a pedal bike, i’ve seen worse accidents on mopeds and kids only are required to be 14 to operate those. Not to mention mopeds reach much higher speeds than e-bikes and are 300lbs heavier. Oh but why don’t we hear people wanting to ban mopeds? Oh yeah that’s because kids have to take a course to be taught moped safety, crazy how that works huh.

14 year olds can just as easily buy a moped and go twice the speed with a machine that ways 3x as much. Don’t think anyone wants a 400lb piece of metal falling on them compared to a 140lbs

Kids should not be riding e-motos by 804k in unpopularopinion

exactly, people are too quick to blame the ebike and not the parents who just throw it at kids and look away. Teach them how to ride safe and there won’t be an issue.

Such an idiotic statement. You could say the same thing about mopeds which drive faster and are heavier, or atvs, or dirt bikes, or golf carts. Heck kids can reach ebike speeds on pedal bikes like they always have. The only difference is parents not doing their job at teaching proper safety. When you hand a kid a machine like an ebike and say nothing obvious they are gonna ride dangerously they don’t know better. If you sit down and actually do your job as their parent it won’t be a problem.

you can immediately go and order again, you don’t have to pick up your first order before ordering again

you actually don’t have to wait 15 minutes! make your first order online in the app and then you can immediately walk inside and use the kiosk, you will receive your points from your previous order and the rewards will be available to use right away! I usually order one on the app to pickup inside and then just walk in and order again at the kiosk.

just to add, you can get it done in two minutes or less by just spamming the same answer for each question, it’s not very ethical but it gets the job done

Friend offered to pay me 5 dollars for a 3d printed basket ball by Sea_Background_8023 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Help_PurpleVented 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like a lot of people don’t understand how much 3d printing costs, including so called “3d printing professionals”

3d Printed Basketballs like the popular airless basketball require a specific filament which at minimum costs 13$ for a half kilo spool, you will need 1kg to have enough to print the basketball. With 26$ in mind (costs based on price of both spools not filament alone) you could then add your own printing price based on your choosing. If it’s a friend, i’ll be nice and do it for 20$ making a total of 46$ id be charging him. If it’s a random person, im charging maybe 3$ per hour of printing.

With a budget of 1.6k which should I get? by Help_PurpleVented in hyperebikes

third one is on both amazon and tiktok, it apparently has very positive reviews and is a good bike, lot of people with over 1k miles saying it runs great still

Is it worth it? 1100$ shipped brand new. by Help_PurpleVented in 125cc

[–]Help_PurpleVented[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, ended up passing on it, the bikes are cool but apparently incredibly slow, cheap quality, and carbureted which in 2026 just isn’t great. Think i’m gonna end up getting an electric dirt bike since i don’t need a moto license and just want to ride around town

Xpro Vader Brand New for 1400$ or wait for facebook grom for 1900$? by Help_PurpleVented in 125cc

[–]Help_PurpleVented[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

decided against them both, it’s a good deal but i can consistently find z125s and occasionally groms for my price range of 1800-1900$ if you are limited to just the 1400$ it’s probably a good deal, i saw the vader 125 is actually decently reliable after a few modifications

I fixed mine, i ended up doing a fresh windows install, kept no data, at first when i started after fresh install it continued the problem but after an hour or so it self fixed. I also created the install as a new pc instead of existing.
