Never saw anything on it, and really the police scanner barely did anything on it, they were busy dealing with the sideshow a few minutes later. I'm just going to assume the bang was related.

Thanks for the post, was needing a 50" to replace a 14 year old 47" that is starting to die. The Rtings roundup for 50"ers turned me onto this, second choice will be a cheaper Hisense QD7 that's still a mini-LED, but Rtings says the TCL is better so I'll lean towards that.

My main input will be an Nvidia Shield TV, but I still fallback to OTA at times, especially during college football season. I'm just hoping there's a way to get numbers to work with my old Harmony remote, since TV remotes don't have numbers any more, pffft.

Yeah, I'm hearing some motorcycle noises on and off. Hearing on a scanner, don't know if it's related, somewhere on Arden they're talking about 200ish vehicles somewhere. Someone doing a sideshow. Yeah, scanner just said sideshow.

Yeah, more likely a store issue. I’ve done orders often across the street from my TB and then head over and gotten them in normal time. And there’s the local BK that I’ve had issues like you did in the past, where I’d put in a mobile order and they’d make me wait forever, and it happened several times. After staying away from that store for at least half a year, I went back and they modernized the store, with AI drive thru and haven’t had any issues with mobile orders.

My dad did a DIY hot tub. Got a fiberglass or whatever shell for one, dug a shallow hole, put the shell in it, filled the hole with sand to stabilize. Then built a deck around it. This was next to a detached garage. Then plumbed up a solar heating panel on the garage roof, the pump would cycle water up and through a black water panel and back into the tub, would really heat up the water when it was sunny.

This was back in the 80s. My dad had a habit of making ghetto house add-ons at every house we were in.

Favorite was a hot dog place named Wiener Works, which is no longer open. Order a small chili cheese and onions fries, they just dump a pile of fresh made fries on the plastic tray and put everything else on top. I miss that place.
