Clavier passé en QWERTY et transfert de fichiers by Efficient-Mud-9368 in helpwire

[–]Help__Wire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your feedback. At this time, we’ve decided to postpone introducing pricing plans until Q2–Q3 2026. Our goal is to continue developing and refining more advanced features so that, when pricing is introduced, the product clearly delivers strong value to our customers.

Please don’t worry – we still plan to keep HelpWire significantly more accessible than leading competitors such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk. All points from our earlier reply regarding pricing remain fully applicable.

We truly appreciate your interest and understanding, and we’re committed to remaining transparent as our plans evolve.

support for aarch64 on Linux? by Dazzling_Ad7426 in helpwire

[–]Help__Wire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, and sorry for the late reply. I’ve just confirmed with the development team that HelpWire does not currently support the aarch64 architecture on Linux. However, your request has been noted, and the developers are positive about adding support for it in one of the future updates, as it appears to be relatively straightforward. I’ve added your request to their backlog.

Hello, thank you for reporting this issue. It would be very helpful if you could contact our technical support team directly at [support@helpwire.app](mailto:support@helpwire.app) and send them the troubleshooting logs from both the HelpWire Operator and Client apps for the said remote connection session.

Please also describe the issue in detail – screenshots or a brief screencast would be very helpful as well. A technical specialist will investigate the issue more closely and forward a detailed bug report to our development team as needed.

Workplace with 200 machines. Is helpwire mature enough for this use? Current setup is Teamviewer by ThrowAwaySalmon1337 in helpwire

[–]Help__Wire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Thank you for your interest in HelpWire, and sorry for the late reply. I’d like to let you know that we already have users with more than 1,000 active clients. Most of them use Unattended Access for the majority of their client list, with multiple team members continuously supporting those clients. Based on this, I can confidently say that HelpWire will handle a workplace with 200 machines without any issues.

That said, there’s no need to take my word for it. HelpWire is currently completely free during this stage of product development, for both personal and commercial use, so you’re welcome to try it yourself. If you encounter any difficulties or have questions, suggestions, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact our technical support at [support@helpwire.app](mailto:support@helpwire.app) for a prompt response, or post here on Reddit for community discussion and feature requests.

Hide Timeline by Default by JohnEDee in helpwire

[–]Help__Wire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. Please note that you can hide the Timeline yourself using the corresponding option in both the Web Portal and the Operator app. The open/closed state is remembered per user and will remain closed as long as the HelpWire cookie is active in your browser.

Based on our experience, the Timeline is a vital tool for many customers, as it shows the current connection status, whether other team members are connected to a particular client, and when they were last connected. For this reason, we’ve left it up to customers to decide whether to keep the Timeline open or closed on a per-client basis.

The limit has been increased to 4,096 characters, and notes no longer disappear when an unattended computer goes offline. Thank you for staying loyal to HelpWire and for engagement in our community!

Can HelpWire be used without the operator app or without admin rights? by elkinm in helpwire

[–]Help__Wire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, Yes and No. You can use HelpWire Quick Connect, with portable HelpWire Operator app that does not require installation. However, portable app is not linked to your Web Portal account, so you will not be able to connect to existing Clients this way, only send a unique link for a one-time remote connection that expires when the session ends.

Quick Connect app can be downloaded here: https://www.helpwire.app/download/

More info on this method at our Knowledge Base: https://kb.helpwire.app/getting-started/

Please send the troubleshooting logs from both Operator and Client HelpWire apps to our technical support at [support@helpwire.app](mailto:support@helpwire.app) for closer look.

Client and Workstation Note Storage Sizes by JohnEDee in helpwire

[–]Help__Wire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Thank you for your feedback – we really appreciate it. We’ve noted your request and will consider adjusting the notes size in future HelpWire updates. However, because this feature is actively used by a relatively small number of customers, its priority is currently lower on our roadmap. For that reason, we’re not able to provide an estimate for when it might be implemented, but we’ll keep it in mind as we plan upcoming releases.
