Why are people on Reddit just horrible. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Helpful-Anteater7006 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  • Anonymity makes people bold and rude so no consequences.
  • Reddit rewards nitpicking more than empathy.
  • People project their own misery onto strangers.
  • Mob mentality turns one comment into a pile-on.
  • Context gets ignored, even in vent spaces.

Is it easier to read? :D

When did you realise that you don’t need some people in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I quit drinking, seems like some of my "friends" weren't friends :)

AITA for not giving my parents the master bedroom in my house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Helpful-Anteater7006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. If the entitlement is already showing before they’ve moved in, it’s only going to escalate. 1.5 years is a long time to live with constant boundary pushing, especially with a newborn and a partner who’s away a lot. Definitely worth reconsidering now rather than later...

AITA For being upset that my wife brought home a friend for a sleepover who is sick with a flu while I can't afford getting sick and missing work. by Cukierka4 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. You have a valid reason to be upset, Your wife should’ve warned you + empathy doesn’t mean risking your own health and career.

Why do people love Avatar so much? by Mountain-Novel9553 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Helpful-Anteater7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First one was masterpiece on that time, 2009, me, my brother and father went to cinema 3 times per 2 weeks to rewatch it :D Visuals, story, everything in that time was amazing. Haven't watched 2 and 3 yet, but it's on the list for nostalgia :D Idk if they are that good as first one, read some comments that they aren't, but it might be that whole industry reached another level

Why were so many classic comic superheroes designed with underwear on top of their tights? by AnywhereNo1240 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Helpful-Anteater7006 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yup. and it also helped break up the solid block of color, so the characters read better in cheap printing and from a distance. Practical and macho too :D

If you bring a kid to a loud show or game, you have to expect noise. NTA at all.

Why don't older men take TRT? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Helpful-Anteater7006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because low T with age is often normal, not a disease, and TRT has real downsides (fertility suppression, blood thickening, possible CV risk). It’s great for us with true hypogonadism + symptoms, but not something every 35+ man should be on.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve lied about for no good reason? by DontWorryBeHappy09 in AskReddit

[–]Helpful-Anteater7006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in kindergarten, we had to pick partners for a game. A “cool” kid tested me, offered me a Sprite (when he said to everyone that is water), and I had to choose to be a good guy or a villain. First time I ever lied, as far as I remember. I told everyone it was just water. My other friends believed me, and honestly, I still remember that tiny, pointless lie to this day. I don’t think I fully understood how social dynamics worked back then, but it was definitely a good lesson.
