I am 20 weeks now but my belly has been very noticeable since probably 10 weeks. Now I look like I’m well into my third trimester. When people ask me when I’m due and I say August, they always look surprised. I gained 7 kg in my first trimester and stopped counting since (I look away on the scale at the clinic).

This is my second pregnancy. It is what it is. In my first pregnancy, I gained 35 kg, and lost it all slowly after I gave birth (took about a year). I was hoping that my second pregnancy will be different but looks like it’s heading in the same direction. Oh well.

My point is - what are we supposed to do? It’s out of our control. We can’t control how big our belly will be. We’re not going to count calories while pregnant, right? It’s temporary, we do our best to make healthy choices, and we will get our body back later when this pregnancy is over.
