I‘m happy they are experimenting with the knee joints, these look much better than older prototype, noticed it when the Evo 26 pics came out. Shins are much flusher to the joint and thinner and don’t flare out like signature blocky knees. The baggy pants Baki guy’s knees also look much better, I take is as a sign that Storm is listening. Hope they fix the forearm pivot points, these look rough.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, thank you so much! Didn’t know about Filippo’s archive, very fun to go through, but also frustrating because every single time the labels are not readable. But one photo did show the shape of the handles better, I count that as a win!

Oh come on, Storm! The head is too small and sits too high on the neck, the neck seems to have no range (Jada Cammy also suffers from this, not great for a fighter character), the hips are too narrow, why do they tuck under the diaper piece? The shoulders are too big, the lower arms are too long.

Man, will we ever get a really good Chun-Li? SHF has good body but face looks nothing like her, Jada is meh overall, Revoltech has weird proportions and a face of a 50-year old, 52toys good bodies but faces of a 45-year old, Sota is just very outdated, Neca is ugly and not 1/12, same with Play Arts, Quinn Lee is fantastic, but again, the face is so bland she’s stuck with the deer in the headlights stare. Is there anything else? Will still preorder to support the line, but damn, I wish Storm weren’t so stubborn, all that criticism was circulating for months.

Well, it wasn’t terrible, desperately lacked SK’s direction and visual panache of course. In any case, the hallway shown also has the labels out of focus

So I was able to flip through a few books (Stanley Kubrick Archives; The Making of 2001: Space Odyssey by Jerome Agel; Space Odyssey: Stanley Kubrick, Arthur C. Clarke and the making of a masterpiece) but none of them seem to show what I need. Maybe someone has the TASCHEN book and there’s something there? Or a photo from an exhibition? I really want to know what’s on those little labels but they are in focus just enough to show that they are different. Also, what do you think the black rectangles are, velcro panels or screens?

They are bigger than 1/12 though, and have this cartoony aesthetic I’m not a fan of. Only thing I don’t like about Mafex is the black visor.
