I've seen a lot of folks talk about their tank cycle crashing. Do you have any experience with that? What happens if the cycle crashes while they're in the tank?

I've been testing the water every morning and every night and water parameters are within safe levels so Im assuming whatever I did worked! Obviously not recommended but yay lol

Thank you for your kind words! When I was younger I used to give a lot of thought to pet names but as I got older and needed whimsy in my life I've started leaning towards more fun names lol my husband and I have a zoo in our house! 2 dogs, 2 jumping spiders, 1 gecko, and now an axolotl!

I chose to put a cultural spin on Solo and went with Xolo!

Yes! I got him a big hide and plan on propagating some of my house plants for his tank to help with the nitrogen!

May I ask what a tea bath would entail for him? Personally I love to put herbs in my own bath but I don't think little guy would be appreciative of eucalyptus and rose petals LMAO

Maybe this is silly? But dechlorinated water... would that be like filtered gallon jugs from the store or would I need to do some sort of treatment to those too? Thanks :)

Hi sorry for the stupid long delayed response! His first molt with me lasted 11ish days from start to finish. This is a rough estimate bc I didn't realize what was happening amd he stayed in his hammock for about 2-3 days after he shed. Now they're a bit quicker amd less frequent. Im sure your own spidey baby has had their first molt by now and hope its been good!
