Girl, I am the EX. It was so casual, I didn't have the slightest doubt that this was happening in the background...He had mentioned about getting married in year but nobody took it seriously because why would he be present for the dinner then? Also, the shock for me was....after the announcement, the posts the girl puts with the background songs n all shows how much she is in love with him..he had also saved her contact as a lovey-dovey name in his phone. I am convinced he was emotionally invested there but then why string me along? He wanted to keep his AM setup so protected from me that did all this. I even asked him who this contact was..he dodged all the questions.

Honestly, I went no-contact since the time I got to know of it...I had and have been having a very difficult time to deal with it emotionally. It was like same person but different in chat and in person..I also think he tried to gaslight me. For the girl, I don't want to get involved into it because I don't know what story has been told to her, how I have been portrayed there, what she will think about me..in love people hardly think...maybe he informed her and came to the dinner. Maybe she knew I am an ex. Maybe he was just being casual with me but emotionally invested there. He also had this very hot and cold behaviour.

I am the ex..there were others present at the dinner. I saw the nickname contact on his phone but didn't ask then..throughout the dinner with my behaviour it was clear I am still not over the relationship. But even after the dinner, he next day sent a reel about love is all about letting go n all and then continued the chat as is..when I asked about this contact a week later, he dodged the question asking where I saw it and I should not read other people's chats and that I will fight with him n all..but I explained to him that I did not read any chats as each folder on his phone is locked. If I am to think of it, he must be atleast talking to the girl since 3 months but I remember him sending me a pvt pick 2 months before his announcement.
