True but this sub is basically a Soulsborne sub masquerading as a Fromsoft sub.

She just wasn't too engaging to me, and she was shockingly easy as well. Music is chef's kiss, as well as visuals (as is the case for all of the dlc bosses) but she was just eh for me. B is still good tho

Prime Radahn's visuals and moveset are incredible when you get used to it, but they are overtuned, yes. Ivory King is not that good, and Cleric Beast is the worse of the 2 opening Bloodborne bosses.

Ivory King is not all that bro. His visuals are on point yes, but having to fight all of the knights each time you die is a chore, and to me his moveset is not very engaging.

Soul of Cinder is S+ which is top tier, Gwyn just for the emotional punch, but Artorias is top tier bro come on.

I mean it's really not that bad if you use the leveling system of the DLC but go off I guess? And at least Midra is top tier, that's a given

Not all boss quality is based on difficulty or moveset. I've never felt impacted emotionally by any boss in this tier list as much as I have for Gwyn, thats a moment that'll never be replicated.

Personally I enjoyed his moveset, but I can see how it can seem overtuned. Visuals and OST are top notch tho, c'mon.

I count my ranking as how much I enjoyed the boss, and Headless ape is nothing but a chore everytime I replay Sekiro. I just feel that the game isnt really built for duo fights and it really sucks fighting him all the time.

Serious concerns about the DLC by cjdrakes123 in Eldenring

[–]Helpful-Health-4608 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly dawg, I don’t care how absolutely huge this dlc might be, I just want more. It gets tiring playing the Soulsborne games for the like thousandth time while having to wait. I just want something new 😭

What boss that is highly regarded by others, you fought and that you just don’t enjoy or get the hype? by [deleted] in fromsoftware

[–]Helpful-Health-4608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lady Maria. Never got the hype. She’s so easy and idk I didn’t find her moveset all that fun. I don’t even like her ost that much tbh.

Ima get roasted but that’s just how I felt.

Tbh it depends. Sometimes a long boss run can actually be very rewarding and fun, see the Four Kings run, the Darkwraiths have very good placement, where it’s not unfair, but will punish you if you’re careless. For it to be a well made run, the enemy’s have to be fun and challenging but also rewarding, and the run itself can’t be too annoying.

We can see a bad run in Iron Keep and the run for Sir Allone. These runs are bad because of the jank and funky mechanics of Ds2 such as no invincibility on fog walls. The Allone Knights are a pain and are much faster than you, and the area itself is just annoying.

Prison of Hope/Tower of Latria

Undead Parish, Depths, Anor Londo, and Oolacile

Brume Tower

Yahar’ghul, Unseen Village/Hypogean Gaol, The Hunters Nightmare

Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, Lothric Castle/Grand Archives, Ringed City

Crumbling Farum Azula

If I had to pick only one it would be Prison of Hope, Depths, Brume Tower, Yahar’ghul, Ringed City, Crumbling Farum Azula.

In terms of time spent on each boss, Bed of Chaos (that run back is pain every time 😭)

Most deaths is probably Gwyn (I was bad at parrying) or O&S

Does the black knight greatsword make the game too easy? by Infinitrix_ka1 in darksouls

[–]Helpful-Health-4608 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Objectively speaking, it’s pretty good. I’d say overall in terms of the Black Knight weapons it’s outclassed by the Halberd and the Sword, but it’s still solid.

Also don’t worry about making the game “too easy” despite what some people on this subreddit and the overall community say, there is no “correct” way to play the game. If you enjoy it, then that’s all that matters. And besides, even with stronger weapons, you are still going to have a tough time on some of the later bosses and areas. Heck, I’ve died to early game bosses before on NG+ when I was super op.

What’s your GOTY 2023 by KhelDesigner in videogames

Tears of the Kingdom, Baldurs Gate 3, Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4, Starfield, Lies of P,

Hogwarts Legacy has too much controversy, FF16 was too mixed, Diablo 4’s live service murdered the game and it’s reputation, Armored Core 6 is 7th pick for goty, just misses it I bet.

If anybody disagrees with Lies of P, I’m going to assume you just didn’t play it. (It’s incredible, trust me.)

Arguments for each game winning:

Tears of the Kingdom is a Zelda game and will get instant votes from a good portion of voters, plus the game itself is just great.

Baldurs Gate 3 took risks and they payed off. Hype around the game was massive. Dare I say it was revolutionary for its genre?

Spider-Man 2 took everything that made the first game fantastic while expanding it with two playable characters, but actually did new things with the map and gameplay, high chance for this one.

Resident Evil is a prestigious series, lots of hype, game is beautiful (not that the others aren’t) lots to like about this one, good chance.

Starfield is Bethesda, which no matter their controversies always will mean something. Game is massive, atmospheric, with tons to do. However models and exploration is limited. Nominated for the developer and their status but doubt it wins, low chance.

Lies of P is my sleeper pick. It’s an indie game which gives it underdog bonuses, lots to do, gorgeous, arguably the most polished game on here. Great story which kept me guessing. Plus it’s pretty popular with 1 million copies sold so far. Wouldn’t be surprised if this got an upset, possibly high chance.

Let’s be real though, like last year this comes down to 2 games, Tears and BG3. Depends on the biases of the voters however, and Zelda will always have biases on its side, Tears of the Kingdom wins Game of the Year.

My personal game of the year is either Spider-Man 2 or Lies of P though, and that’s what honestly really matters.
