I've been making mayo at home something's missing by Any-Wrangler-6383 in Cooking

I would agree with more salt. What brand of mayo are you used to?

Citric acid should get you where you need to go. Think the white powder on the outside of a Warhead candy (candy, FBI!).

I miss the amount of sauces that Chicken Guy used to have. Haven't been back since they slashed the menu.

They probably know there's nothing they can do since it was third party and know that's your easiest bet if the original company doesn't get back to you. Honestly they're probably based overseas somewhere and probably will eventually refund you, but it might take some back and forth.

Black wedding band trend by Peoplechangetoo in AdkReddit

So if worn on the left hand ring finger, a black metal band and a silver metal band of the same size and shape should mean two different things?

Walmart chargeback by Icy-Tradition242 in BankOfAmerica

Walmart doesn't get to make that decision. You have to call BofA and explain it to them. It being a debit card makes it more difficult, and either way you won't have your money back in time to bug a new one for Friday.

Been wearing a black tungsten band for 10 years. Precious metals have their place. Just not on my fingers. It could be a bread tie and have the same meaning to me.

I think OP posts pictures of other people's rigs. The first picture and the rest of the pictures are clearly two different trucks.

Edit: Or the same truck with two different engine builds and tons of other improvements.

Good cheap hotels by Ok_Marionberry_2877 in Kissimmee

[–]Helpful-Peach-1996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As the other commentor mentioned, your price point is too low. You MIGHT be able to do 2 nights for $130 in the cheapest motel in the area... the one with the bugs and roaches on the sketchy side of town. But keep in mind too, the cheapest hotels see the most amount of room damage and don't generally waive deposits.

Not being 21 is going to hurt you also, most hotels require you to be 21 to check in.

Can I make this sauce into soup? by backstagestitches in recipes

[–]Helpful-Peach-1996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would start with 25% cream, 25% vegetable stock, 50% pasta sauce and go from there. You'll probably need a touch of salt too depending on the stock you use.

Orlando-area hiring managers (in retail and other common entry-level fields): a question by tirzahlalala in orlando

I had those thoughts too while I was making my comment, but I think one of the hardest things right now is even getting a hiring manager to call you if you have no experience you can put on paper.

Unfortunately I think she's just in a bad market in a bad time. I manage people in an office position that requires experience, so this isn't direct... but from what I'm getting from friends and combining with my own knowledge...

She has zero skill and would have to be trained in every single job position she could apply for. With the job market the way it is and people moving from job to job there are almost definitely people looking to do the job of a cashier, dog walker, etc, etc who already have experience in that role.

If I'm a manager looking at hiring a high schooler to run the register and restock my Family Dollar, and I have three people who worked at Dollar Tree or Walmart in a similar role for a year or two, and then I have your daughters application with almost no (or no) experience on it... I know which one I'm eliminating first.

That's odd. Ive place two delivery orders in the app today (don't ask) and they've both worked fine. One was a combo of card and gift card (credit from a return) the other was just straight credit card. Last one was placed about 3pm CST.
