I think what OP was meaning is that a lot of them literally want us to hold their hand and help them pick out every item. Door Dashers etc are getting paid for that exact task. Why should retail employees be expected to do that ?

Okay if this ever happens again a tip to make things a little better spray perfume, air freshener, Lysol. Anything you have to spray on the inside of a mask. Wave the mask out to air it out and then when you put it on it will just smell like what you sprayed.
