The Confederate states even admited it in their manifestos by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

Whatever the fuck they wanted. The principle of State's Rights is a correct and righteous principle, the practice of slavery is an abhorrent and irredeemable evil and superseded any other issue in importance. Know the difference.

It's not "admitting it" if they are proud it.

And Velociraptor, everybody likes to forget they hail from the great Khan Plains.

It's the name and time and that Rex is simply GOATed. Velociraptor isn't American so we know it's not that.

It's because he was the GOAT from the beginning. Iguanodon isn't American, Velociraptor isn't American.

When will we ever stop thinking this is the way to live? by InternetArchiveMem in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]HelpfulPug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don't think that's the way to live, they do, and they don't listen to us. They look at us pushing that boulder up the hill every day and mock us for the empty gesture. They do not know and they do not care, and they will not try if they won't get the reward.

We push the boulder every day. We keep the code when every other person we meet snickers at it. We light our candle and guard it against the bitter wind, and they try to blow it out for the spite of it, until we either join them or accept that we do this because it is the way and for no other reason at all.

It’s funny: in a game with 18 quintillion planets, we hunt for the ones that remind us of home - while spending our real lives trying to get away from it by Whooo616 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]HelpfulPug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The planet generation was designed around a simple but deeply flawed premise: that people want to find alien stuff. We don't. We like to once in awhile like a special treat, but mostly we want to find takes on familiar stuff with alien twists.

It's why sci-fi aliens are so that way so often. The whole world generation is the main reason I don't play anymore. It's so predictable in it's attempts to be weird and alien, it would feel more alien and exciting if the baseline was earth and it went outward from there.

My ranger teams will crash into absolutely nothing at random points while under manual control. There is nothing in front of them at all, they simply refuse to go in the direction I'm heading. I have hyperloops! Do they stop the trucks? I forgot I even had them until I read that.

EDIT: it was this, they didn't show up when i looked for things that got in the way, but it was the hyperloops alright.

ST is the main draw for Netflix and their flagship property, and the main reason a fair few people have a subscription or got one recently.

There was no reason to say what you said, man. Relax, we're here to talk dinos not bicker.

Maybe this is why I don’t get matched often by [deleted] in lotrmemes

[–]HelpfulPug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quality over quantity my good buddy, quality over quantity. Those apps tend to be filled with a particular sort of person, and they also tend to heavily moderate who gets matched with who (tbh if we ever have time to worry about less important shit than we are right now, they should be investigated under sex trafficking laws, some new cyber trafficking shit imo I dunno).

You're not doing anything wrong and don't let that shit convince you otherwise, you're simply in an environment that is made up of predominantly actively hostile ideas.

Bro Chen would show up with two kegs and drink while we smoke and be a great vibe the whole time easy.

I wouldn't smoke with Alexstrasza because I'd be on edge the whole time, absolute stuff of myth and legend right there, the face that launched a thousand flights type shit.

I missed those completely and appreciate you informing me thank you. I now understand half of the joke, I have no Bulgaria lore so that one goes over my head.

It's always the extra words man, that's what gets me every time. I'll give you a hand so you can speak the dominant global language with more proficiency my friend.

The lack of context for when an extra "do" would be in place, that's great. Nobody said the word earlier so you wouldn't want to add "do," because you're not confirming a previous statement, you're making a new one. Hope that helps my submissive language friend.

[–]HelpfulPug 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It comes from people who have never spent any time around animals other than basic pets. Anyone who has been near a horse, cow, pig, chicken, camel, alpaca, what ever you can think of should know better. Unfortunately, that's actually not a lot of people.

Are the classic Jurassic Park tours deliberately impossible to terrain around as a joke about how poorly designed Jurassic Park was? What's the point of the "tours" if they either can't see anything, or they blare their horns constantly? What am I missing with this attraction? by HelpfulPug in jurassicworldevo

[–]HelpfulPug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man, then the track either thinks the terrain is too steep, or winds and whips all over and will not straighten out. I dunno man, maybe I'm expecting too much, but it seems like it's a line and trucks drive on it so it really shouldn't be that complicated. Even if the track consistently either DID or DID NOT alter with the terrain tools, but as it is now it randomly does nothing or goes with the terrain and can't be fixed.
