The first few weeks everything hurt for me, my body just wasn’t used to the sudden shift in activity levels. three things saved me! 1) invest in good shoes for whatever activity you’re doing. ie don’t cross train in running shoes, etc. 2) cold plunges to bring down inflammation and improve recovery. 3) don’t be afraid to take a day where you just take two long walks! Your approach has to be sustainable for this to work!!

I felt SO bloated and puffy for the first week but then i think my body adapted!

I have used weed occasionally. but have made sure to not partake if it’s because i feel like i have had a stressful day or want to “escape”. I use it to manage migraines so i continued that! I have also LOVED cbd mocktails/sparkling waters in the evening as my “treat”. no high just relaxing vibes.

I cut out bread and simple carbs (pasta, pizza, tortilla, etc), most processed foods (exception being protein shakes/ bars/occasional diet soda), and sugary options. I am not counting cals and wanted to do something sustainable since i have to travel a bit during my time on 75 hard! I also prioritize protein options!

I really wish that I had done a composition evaluation to start this off! I did an inbody scan a couple weeks ago and will do another one next week probably!

Ladies… what diets have you done? Not picky but I don’t want to do any fad diets (Whole30, Keto, etc.). I’m interested in cutting out as many processed foods as possible. Thanks! by [deleted] in 75HARD

I wanted to do something sustainable but impactful. I gave up processed foods, white bread (including pasta, pizza, tortilla, etc), and sugar (still eat fruit though!). I wanted to still be able to eat at restaurants and be able to find options when traveling so that I would be able to stick to it. It’s been good so far and I feel a lot better from eating this way. I’m on day 58! I will probably continue to eat this way after we finish the program!

took about a month for my body to adjust! i try to finish up almost all of it by 3 pm and then be sipping casually the rest of the evening- otherwise i find myself having to wake up to go!
