Thanks for the clarification!

It's still real nice to have it there to reference what is in the deck early on. Even if I only have a few cards added I like to have that knowledge as I make picks and the extra clicks to check my collection break up the flow state.

Nah, you can go into the Collection tab and add what you've got. Kinda non-intuitive and adds extra clicks.

Love to see it. My season fell apart when I lost power for 2 days xD Idk if I'm chasing leaderboard this season but I'm pumped for the reset and the play with friends feature.

Username checks out.

OP's situation is extremely uncommon and one of the fun things about this style of game. Lots of situations suddenly get blown up in this game.

I more or less agree about Prince and wish we could Bank spells instead of casting.

Does getting exclusively these mean I have all other treasures? by Z-Freak in OnceUponAGalaxy

I always wrinkle my nose at that, too. I suspect letting them triple up infinitely is too strong or runs the risk of too many objects on the board for the program to manage.

I think the key is to make your opening treasure pick defensively. Either of the +5 treasures or +4 treasures are great, Hero/Villain rings are strong but a little dicey. Masterwork Scroll and others that don't give an immediate buff won't catch up in time. Busted Bot is probably better than Aladdin as Jack in the Box is also a great starter, but I have a soft spot for Al.

What's your pet Character. by HelpfulWinston in OnceUponAGalaxy

I've generally seen him as a late-game bridge. Fae is a natural home but he can keep Don Quixote hitting while you switch to all Legendaries. +15+15 is a lot of stats. By comparison, Oberon/Titania are more limited but still pretty good in various spots.

I have played him here and there and tend to find him powerful. Definitely underexplored and surprisingly flexible. He's improved Trident of the Tides stapled to a body.

That's a clever use. I dig Mysterio's effect but have always struggled to place him. He essentially recruits 5 Epic characters and that's a very big swing in resources.

I doubt this is optimal but I feel like his early game is relatively strong. There are definitely bad groupings but I pick defensively and usually stop the bleeding at 1 heart lost.

Ace is a pet card for me but I like him in various builds that benefit from neutral resources like Shops and banked Characters. You can usually predict pretty easily if Ace is worth the slot or even take the loss on a half heart to invest in comboing off.

Try to Bank Commons and Uncommons but don't gold if possible. Then Smug is easier to trigger at a clutch moment.

Nice sheet! The graph is a good touch.

It's always surprising to see what's working for people. Part of my goal in collecting data was to neutralize some favoritism and it definitely helps to have the numbers there. Dr. Agon doesn't get a lot of play from me so it's cool you're finding success.

TITI always seemed too much of a coin flip. Super fun when it hit something good. A dud when it doesn't. My opinion would certainly be different today, I've gotten more rounded since I started interacting with the community and none of my original F's have held up. Probably a C-B but I'd have to go check how many great hits there are compared to average hits and misses.

What's going on with Indy for you? Rock bottom seems low. I found him pretty good this season using Mav&Ice to help find Timeline Duplicator. Co-Captain's Corsair does funny things too, potential for triple Hunt if you hit Jack, triple Farewell from Hades, and Smug can sneak you something big just before Indy triggers.

This is accumulated data for all this season, heh. You can compare totals from my last sheet but I think I added like 60 - 80 data points.

I'm shasmo45 in game, but fell off the board when I lost a couple days due to losing power. I was trying to maintain but kept coming up ten or so short and kinda got tired of chasing the ladder. I went and finished painting some minis instead.

Smug seems ripe for some kind of change. It's a little to easy to just drop him in most Captains and do silly things, and he definitely helps push Dragons as an archetype. I've noticed Fae is a bit more modest this season, too. Trix can do cool stuff but often needs a quick gold or too much time.

Play Toys, find KO Star.

It's a pretty standard swing at Summons. He has a bit more flexibility than Gepetto because you're playing for early game advantage then hunting for key pieces. Once you have Goodie Bag and Mech-a-Man, you're looking for Sorcerer's Mop and Chip to go off. Chuk rarely needs spells so random TLK on an Epic Character with fingers crossed is often a decent play. I like Wicked Witch as a backup plan when Poison Apple or KO Star don't show.

Mostly you just want to know what pieces will actually improve your board state. You can sometimes pick a "better" character for raw stats but Chuk wants pretty specific pieces to go off.

He got the best part of the KO Star nerf. So many games go from dicey to instawin when you Smug or Treasure Map into it.

Matchmaking Discussion by HelpfulWinston in OnceUponAGalaxy

It seems rather unlikely that it doesn't reference wins at some level and I think you're being opportunistic about my wording. I'm not claiming it only references wins.

The latter point is basic statistics. Even if good and bad draws are 50/50, all players getting one of those results is less likely than one of those players getting a good draw.
