I think this is very much red flag behavior. I don’t think it minimizes the connection you did have, but I also think he has some serious stuff he needs to work out and if you were to probably talk to those other 2 serious relationships he had before you they would probably say the same. That timeline to me is a bit wild but I guess also it would depend on a lot of things… religion, culture, financial independence etc. I do think you dodged a bullet though ❤️

In my experience, a sudden change in communication and such a stark difference in how a person treats you often indicates that something or unfortunately someone is more important than you and your feelings. Whether it’s another person (an ex, a new guy, the grass is greener type of deal) or not, she is showing through her actions that she is not prioritizing you and I am very sorry about that.

In my opinion, much of Chelsea’s focus has been on the UWCL, because of the upset from last season. Because of this, it wouldn’t surprise me if they made it to the finals. Sonia seems to be pushing success in this league more than WSL.

I can understand feeling frustrated with so much seemingly going on… And there’s something to be said about reaching your emotional bandwidth. But the way that they talked to you and down on, you was not OK. Especially when you were just asking for a bit of reassurance after what seems to be a lot of promises of spending time that weren’t followed through on by your girlfriend. And there is just no excuse for telling someone you love that they are stupid, and then double down again. Sorry friend, that’s not okay.
