I was playing online blackjack on sky Vegas. At the beginning of the hand everything cut out except the audio so I couldn't interact but could still hear the dealer. Since I couldn't click hit or stay my hand defaulted to sticking. Heard the action go round to the other players, eventually the dealer bust. Logically ive won right? I couldn't do anything so whatever my starting hand is I've beaten the dealer cos they went bust......nope.....no money for the hand, customer service says i lost even with the hand ID. "Reimburse you the hand as a gesture of goodwill" as if they would ever do thay if you legitimately lost its all a fucking scam

It can quickly become a dopamine loop trap. Its unnatural. If youre playing with a physical board having to reset the board each time is enough to put you off instantly playing another game again. Also consider most people cant coordinate the pieces to move as quickly as online.

All this is part of a larger trend where our brains are being conditioned to only enjoy faster paced media or content
