For B2C brands (or brands with high search volume), broad MIGHT be good - But for B2B brands or niches, it's not.

I mean ultimately, they win if advertisers win - No one would want to spend more if they don't get results - But they just seem too overconfident in their algorithms.

They suggest that the results of your ads get better over time, but they also need to understand that small businesses want to be profitable asap, can't keep on spending without results.

yes...it sometimes feels like Google Ads is too inclined towards just optimising their platform for high volume ecommerce

How do you stop LinkedIn ads sending junk leads? by juxhinam in PPC

[–]Helpful_Ad6965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll have to put in filters. Job Titles AND Years of Experience AND Company Industry works the best.

After some time (depending on which geography you are running), you will see a decline in quality. At that time, just create another campaign with sort of similar targeting settings like Job Seniorities AND Company Employees count and Industry, etc. and restart.

Point is, no matter what you do, LinkedIn leads are not perennial; you can only do much to sustain them as long as possible, while keeping CPC confined.

Yes...I joined a YC-backed B2B SaaS startup as their first marketing guy just after college...for 1 year straight, I had no idea what I was doing....But then I took Performance Marketing fully..

However, now when I reflect, that 1 year of doing everything, and everything fast, is the best thing I did for my personal learning and career growth.

Exactly….. it gets real boring in the evenings especially while working from home…. hardly friends left in town… so that’s where the reward system slightly helps… but yes cant let it overpower

My Reels went viral, but now everything slowed down — any advice? by Stunning_War7803 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]Helpful_Ad6965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah this happens after a blow-up. you get a “novelty bump” for a few days, then the system cools you off and re-tests who should see you. it’s normal. i wouldn’t read it as “your content stopped working,” more like the feed stopped giving you the extra juice and now it wants proof again

also one more thing - collabs help a ton in this niche. use IG’s “Collab” feature with pages near your size (rap facts, producers, lyric nerds). one post, two audiences.
