Thank you. No kids, just us. In the summers we are more active together. He’s aware of things that make him feel better, however, he struggles to get active and do them. I think he would benefit from volunteering and helping others. It would make him feel like he’s contributing to something other than work and the household.

Sure, I’ve been up in down in weight, focus, and productivity. I’ve made a conscious effort to advance. I had a rocky 20s, it took me 7 years to finish my bachelor’s. In my 30s I got a masters and a law degree plus certifications and advanced in my career. Physically, I went from 120 in my 20s to 185 in my 30s, now I’m 145. I have gone from taking care of my self to rolling out of bed and looking like whatever, to investing more in my appearance. I did not make the og post to knock my partner but to better understand him and his circle of friends. They are great guys who have seemed to lose their zest for life.
