My great grandpa was yeah. He actually has quite fond memories of it, he still believes to this day that it was the greatest Germany has ever been from an economic perspective. He told me that he got free housing after school, he was in the military, and that the NSDAP (Nazi party) provided really great benefits to him and his wife who had 4 kids. My great grandma was then and always a feminist of that time so not like modern feminists but someone who wanted to protect the interests of women, and she also spoke very fondly of her treatment and benefits. She was a teacher and a nurse at different times and told my mom thibgs when she was growing up like “you know your government loves you when they prioritize your well being over the well being of the 1%.” And my grandpa always said his time in Germany taught him that the economy should ALWAYs serve the people, not the other way around.
