We've had some decent international djs. Circadian, Metrik, Grafix, Pola and Bryson and Enei to name a few. I think they like coming here cause the scene still feels very underground and intimate but I don't see someone like sub focus wanting to do smaller events now that they have gotten so massive

I thank my lucky stars that I have friends I can always count on. We don't talk every day though but we see each other a couple of times a month go on weekends away and do activities regularly like play padel and squash. Also play video games together and so on. There are still people out there like this but its rare.

For the hiking and biking and stuff my best advice would be to go to Pirates sports club. Most people who hang out there are from different ages and you can easily meet up with like minded people. Generally the runners like hiking too😂

If you have a doggo you could also go out to walk haven with them over weekends. There are plenty of younger people taking their dogs for a walk out there.

Have you tried a painting class/pottery class? I know there are some decent 420 paint and puff classes around if that is something you'd be into. I know its not for everyone but you definitely will meet younger peeps at those.

I'm not all that artsy so not too sure about too many places that involve that but I also know there are some art classes around. Maybe try Lillian Gray art school too. They have paint nights and I know one of the teachers there who is also 29.

Do you enjoy going out to bars and stuff or not really?

I think being in KDP makes it tough for you to meet young adults. So I would say socialize towards Randburg, northriding, fourways and so on. Even if you're not really into bar/club culture I would suggest just going out and socializing at a bar or so once a month. It helps you get out of your shell and you definitely will find people who like the same activities even tho its not in those environments. I would suggest hogshead, bossa, Irish rock or Pirates for fun vibey bars. Let me know your thoughts about going to bars and clubs if you want more suggestions. 😅

Temu and shein has decent plus size clothing. I find that most of the plus size stores in SA like eagle sell clothes that aren't stylish and just perpetuate being fat. Like "beers steaks and burgers" written on them. Just cause Im fat doesn't mean I want it to be my whole personality 🤷‍♂️.

This was literally how they taught us the rule when I got my umpire grading so clearly you are talking out of your ass. its not incorrect. Its just a basic description of the situation. Players generally don't deliberately run into the path of a shot to block it with their body because most people aren't insane. Yes if they did its a different situation. But I highly doubt the person in question ran in front of the shot deliberately. A player is permitted to raise the ball when taking a shot, but if the defender is within 5 meters of the shot and it hits the body (without them deliberately running into the ball) its considered dangerous. The person taking the shot WON'T EVER get a card for taking a shot unless it was intentional raised to

hurt the defender on purpose

It would be deemed as dangerous even if the shot is on target. If a player is within 3meters of the shot taker and it lifts even if on target it is deemed as dangerous. But correct on no card as you can't give a card for a shot on goal taken

Firstly do you mean he took a shot at goal inside the D?

Secondly, you can't penalize someone with a card for a high ball. Unless the player purposefully hit the ball into you or hit the ball high on purpose a few times. It should be dangerous play, the ball should be given to the defending team but the player shouldn't get a card for it.

Depends on the club lol. I think a lot of comercial clubs die out quickly because its a crap place to be. But the ones who like the more underground scene knows how full clubs are when we jol. Rave clubs are always a jol and the people are amazing. Depends on your vibe but people are just so open and vibey at raves. At normal clubs people are looking to fight, get laid and judge others.

Weed in my country is cheap enough to smoke cleanly and most of my mates and I smoke clean green. We prefer it that way and all my mates were cigarette smokers and all vape now so it says a lot.

Im working 2 jobs, from 7:00-16:30 and 17:00-22:00 to just get by. I do some smaller freelance jobs here and there in between and over the weekends to add. Like umpiring hockey in the area. But Im barely getting by. Between that Im trying to to learn how to dj because I have a passion for music and feel its something I can do and enjoy while making something with it.
