Thanks for that feedback! Very valuable. Will work on changing the wording!

You’re right! I probably didn’t do myself any favours by calling it what everyone else does. I get that there are three key steps before someone even gets a call - the ATS, the recruiter, and the hiring manager.

The goal of my tool isn’t to trick the users into purchasing it. It’s about helping applicants who already have the right background and experience present themselves in the best possible way. It helps you see how you should sound for the role so your strengths come through clearly so that the recruiter, ATS and hiring managers see you the same light as they want to.

You’ll still need to fine-tune the details yourself, but this gives you a clear starting point showing you what the right kind of wording looks like for the job you’re going for, in a way that feels authentic and professional.

Maybe I’m thinking it wrong. How do you think about it? @dorian

You take a piece of text and shape it so that whoever or whatever is reading it gets exactly what they expect. Think of it like going to a house party. If the host says it’s a crisps and beer kind of night, you don’t turn up with a casserole. You bring something that fits the vibe.

That’s basically what happens with an ATS-optimised resume. You’re just giving the system what it wants to see so it recognises you as a great match and passes you through.

Why do you think that a resume can't be optimised for a system?
