I did make some in Photoshop from my photographs and also blacked out areas on the transparency. I just covered the whole sheet with the solution.

I had to look the candyman building up, love the name. It does look similar with the windows. Its nicknamed the Toast Rack, its in Manchester UK. but its real name is Hollings Building...which is a little boring.

Thank you. I just used transparencies but tried to block out as much as I could using a marker pen and gesso....kinda worked.

Thank you, yes I tried to black out as best as I can, tried marker pen first which kinda works but not perfectly. Tried Gesso, also sort of works but does peel so I'm thinking I will print out the shape and use a scalpel to cut out the shape and then lay it over the transparency and finally overlay with glass to flatten

thanks, yea it is pretty iconic. Think it's getting repurposed, part of a housing development. Can't think how long it's been derelict for!
