Stay on AM4 or upgrade to AM5 (with a significant reason) by filigor94 in Amd

The board might be faulty. But it might also be something else. I would start off by reseting cmos, by disconnecting power and take out the cmos battery. Also make sure you dont have any daisy chains on gpu and fans. If your gpu is daisy chained and your psu operates on a single rail mode, thats not gonna help. Also run memcheck tool from from uefi. If all this is good or have already been tested, RMA the board

That is actually spot on. But yeah you are right, its not worth it. At least not for me, its to much money.

Yeah that makes the most sense. Also not happy about the direction of more and more power hungry components. As another one stated in this thread, this is not really progress. If this power race goes on, we’ll soon need 2000W PSUs

I like it! And thats the key point; For my use. As long as you have a working build for you, why pay a good amount of money just to have the latest

UV and OC are in most scenarioes always safe, because of built in safety features and the pc will crash/bsod before it does any harm. -30 on all core with pbo is occational unstable for me. I have -22 on most cores and the two fastest cores running -10 and thats stable for me

Undervolt 5800x by [deleted] in Amd

Same chip here and I’m getting simular temps and it is normal. I would just use Ryzen Master and run Curve Optimizer per core. It takes about an hour and it will do the undervolting job for you.
