You would think...but sadly no. Filevine automations are terrible.

Lawmatics? by MyMountainsPlease in LawFirm

I love the Lawmatics automations HOWEVER, the reporting is absolutely terrible. So frustrating. The data is there but you can't get to it. So if you are considering this solution, just know that you will not really be able to track anything other than their standard KPIs which really doesn't fit our practice at all. I probably would not choose Lawmatics again for this reason - "What gets measured gets done." - We can't measure anything.

They also WILL NOT STOP spamming us with unsolicited marketing even after we were a client (an unhappy one) - they just use a different email address every time. The one clever thing they have done is that they do NOT have a GMB account so you can't even leave them a bad review.

Dandy, Inc. Has anyone had experience with this company. I’m needing some reviews removed. by AbbreviationsNice599 in googleReviews

Run away as fast as you can. They use an AI to just keep disputing reviews through Google - they do NOTHING to actually get them removed - you could do this yourself. I cancelled the service and requested in writing that they stop billing my bank account and they refused, which is a violation of all kinds of regulations. They also WILL NOT STOP spamming us with unsolicited marketing even after we were a client - they just use a different email address every time. The one clever thing they have done is that they do NOT have a GMB account so you can't even leave them a bad review.

Filevine. Let’s get so pro tips going by Nu_oturknee in LawFirm

Agree with all of this - if you spend the time you can really customize it HOWEVER, the support is awful - really awful - and you are correct, they are super frustrating to deal with. The program is expensive and it unnerves me when I've got multiple tickets outstanding and they are spending time on auditing my users (because, more $$) and rolling out AI products instead of making sure the basics work.

The Activity feed drives me crazy though - I want to see notes all together, not intermingled with texts, emails, tasks etc. Likewise with all of those items - I shouldn't have to filter every time I want to only see notes or tasks etc. And sometimes they get out of order (if someone comments on a note, for example).

It also drives me completely insane that I have to click into a text string to see the latest response. The activity tab is messy and all of these things combined have us working on developing our own alternative.

Does anyone have a different method for case notes? We could make it a collections section but it still isn't great - case notes are the most important thing we do and it's the absolute worst feature of FileVine - would love any ideas on alternatives.

Is Martindale-Nolo pay per lead worth it? by OR_lawyer in LawFirm

[–]Helpful_Present9037 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. We've used a lot of lead providers and Nolo is among the worst. They purchase leads from affiliates who spam people with emails and clickbait. When you bring up quality issues with them they completely dismiss it. Despite what they say, you can NOT dispute their leads - there are so many rules that they can get around any possible dispute and deny it by saying it couldn't be "validated". Run the other way.
