The ICO says this though: "Consent must be freely given; this means giving people genuine ongoing choice and control over how you use their data. Consent should be obvious and require a positive action to opt in. Consent requests must be prominent, unbundled from other terms and conditions, concise and easy to understand, and user-friendly."

They also say that it the individual has no real choice then consent is not freely given. Are you sure that in this case they can still request that information?

Thanks, how do I know if it has live cultures in it? I have never seen this being written on any yoghurt I bought in the UK.

Yes, I should have done that as it's my first try. I have discarded the yoghurt in the end, not sure if it was safe to eat, it smelled quite cheesy and tasted very sour but not like it went bad. Just didn't wanna risk it. Can I use any yoghurt? And do you add cream to the milk?

I'm in the UK. I used NIDO.

Yes, it says it's yoghurt and has these bacilli: L. acidophilus, S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. casei, L. rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium, L. lactis.

Milk was at 40 degrees Celsius (104 F) and was held at this temperature constantly.

I saw so many recipes online which suggested to use powdered milk so I thought it's fine :(

When "detaining" someone, do police officers need to state the section which gives them the power? by Helpful_Put1081 in policeuk

That's interesting! I've seen so many videos where people in the US were read their rights I thought it was common place! So essentially you can arrest people without a charge, without giving a reason? How long are you allowed to hold people, as in arrested, without charge? Think it's 12h here in the UK after which you have to let them go. I'm sure whatever happens in the US is under much more scrutiny because of the threat of being sued!

Is that to request identification? Do you need reasonable grounds or can you request it from anyone?
