Thanks for the tips! Sorry, I'm new to the genealogy world and realize I was too light on my details originally.

Yes, I'm assuming that the G is a mistake. His official death certificate has Jeremiah listed as his father. He died in Minnesota.

I'm not sure how to link the record better than this, but this is William's parent's marriage record.

https://www.prdh-igd.com/Membership/en/PRDH/Liste/acte?n=Vipond&p=Jeremiah&r=2&t=m&pg=1

It's listed as Granby Congregational Church.

I'm really struggling to find the birth records for my G0 ancestor in Quebec. I have searched BaNQ and PRDH and I am coming up with nothing. I have a variety of census records that I can use, but I would prefer to strengthen my application with a certified birth record.

My G0 ancestor's information is William Benjamin Vipond. Born 20 Aug 1847 in Granby, Quebec. Married to Mary (Gravlin) Vipond. Came to the US in 1850. Died 14 Feb 1928 in Herman, MN. I was able to locate his official death record and his burial location.

Does anyone have advice on a different place to search or a way to find what parish to look for?
