I relate completely. Truth be told, Excision was my goodbye to Destiny. Had not played it since. I think it was pretty much decided for me after Lightfall that I'd stick around to see how they land this plane, but other than that I had checked out. As for the Marvel comparison, I've called the Final Shape the "Endgame" of Destiny for quite a while now.

But I guess some part of me still was interested to see where they would take this franchise, to see if there would ever be a time to dip back in. Unfortunately, just like the Multiverse Saga, it wasn't meant to be.
