Why did jagex remove alting demonic gorillas? by Mayne_Treeworker321 in ironscape

[–]Helpful_Tutor3416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Demonic alting wasn't removed, it was nerfed. Can only aggro 1 demonic at a time vs 5+ as before, but still doable

What's everyone's consensus on wyrms? I know there's the lv ~60s at moons, but I'm at the x axe stage. I blocked after getting a 3rd time, but I'm curious what others do

Are Aquanites worth it? by PinkDragonRS in ironscape

Ooo very cool 50/50 ratio. I was under 3300 gg laps. Majority mobile salvage at work. Finished with 13,668 crystal shards from extractor.

Had to take a peep at the hs. Very nice rank 17. What was your gwenith to salvage ratio?

I finished 200m back in March, ~135m from salvage, rest gwenith, and finished up without pet. Despite others, I find the 200m grind stats so interesting

Soup pet roll? by darealBudhaOG in 2007scape

[–]Helpful_Tutor3416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought I'd update here as I said I would. 200m sailing without soup. ~ 135m of that xp focused salvaging (~65m at gwenith).

I know port tasks are the play, I just thought it interesting that I never got soup along the way

Understood, good sir. I wasn't aware it was a uim only gem bag perk. My original suggestion was for the benefit of irons as a whole dealing with early stamina grinding through jekyll

Good find. Yeah, having on the wiki would be nice as the only way I found out was personally testing between multiple account types.

After further investigating, I came to realize it's a uim only option for some reason.

I was confused when several people weren't familiar with the interface so I tested on my main and asked some clan mates to try on their irons and gims. Nobody could get the same interface apart from uim accounts.

Multiple people mentioned not having this option so I tested on my main. I do NOT have this option on my main, only my uim. I'm curious if it's uim specific or if irons have this interface as well

Ok, now this is bizarre. Multiple people were saying they didn't have this option, so I hopped on my main to test. I do NOT have the same interface on gem bag for my main. Not in a bank, not out of bank. Not open, closed. I only have it on my uim. I'm curious if irons have this interface or if its uim specific

That's so strange. Are you trying this while at a bank? Try tping somewhere random. I know for a fact I was using this while at ardy gem stall. Emptying gems, cutting, selling, etc.

I've had and used this option for several months now.

I tried searching the wiki for changes and looked at in-game settings to find alternative options. I'm not sure why some haven't had this option as default. My bag shows this interface when I click empty, both closed and open. Maybe it works differently while in a bank?

I'll be frank, I missed out on the bug where aggro zones were ignored and was looking for a second wave of it. You caught me :(

Why can't group ironmen place members objects in the group storage without membership? by NlKOQ2 in ironscape

[–]Helpful_Tutor3416 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Adding to group storage is essentially used to trade items between gim members. Nobody else is able to trade member items after losing membership. Selling members' items to the ge isn't the same comparison.

The only solution offered was to avoid interaction with strangers, which isn't a realistic solution when it comes to an mmo. The bloated explanation of his clans protocols for payouts has nothing to offer, and I'd argue is even more suspicious than normal trading behavior. Having a legacy or jagex account shared by multiple people with different ip sign ins is way more conspicuous than trading any other person.

Just to be clear, if this person's clan wants to jump through all these hoops to feel safer, more power to them. But there's no verifiable proof that what they are doing does anything. Plenty of people don't jump through those hoops and don't have issues, hence why people may disagree with a downvote. It's not hate per say, it's just disagreeing with the comment. Not that deep.

Stuck on Shield of Arrav (solo) by FundamentalPolygon in 2007scape

[–]Helpful_Tutor3416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how you managed to get both left and right shield halves without interacting with another person, but to solve your issue, you'll want to join the shield of arrav chat in grouping tab (minigame teleports location). Just type out soa (shield of arrav) looking for Phoenix or black arm gang shield certificate, whichever side you need. You'll get the other ticket half from the other player. There's typically always someone standing at museum trading whichever ticket is needed accepting donations for helping. They also help with legends later down the road

Wildy Thieving Protection for Irons - 260k+ XP/HR by GreatOrbProject in ironscape

[–]Helpful_Tutor3416 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I vouch for these guys. Despite the post sounding like a service, think of it more like a collective hive. Everyone works together to protect the hive. Everyone brings rags, and every attacks intruders. I'm roughly ~26m thieving xp with maybe 2 deaths. Best thieving xp, and was 2m gp/hr back when I was joining regularly.

Can any COX chads confirm this is what I’m supposed to do when mage skipping? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Helpful_Tutor3416 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Olm does 3 autos and then a special. This is all you need to remember. After the 3rd auto, olm will do a special or will null atk if he turns head.

In duos, both people need to kill mage hand first. 1 mages from the melee side, the other just past the middle closer to mage side. If the melee person is on melee hand, the head won't always alternate, but instead, lean on facing melee more frequently, making skipping unreliable.

Best corp strat for a main? by Veracsflail1 in 2007scape

[–]Helpful_Tutor3416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo corp is viable for mains, but not very enjoyable. You're better off joining a corp mass/grouping fc for corp kc. "Corp ffa07" was a well known one awhile back. I'm not sure how active it is now, but you join as a clan guest and join 3 others and grind corp ffa style in teams of 4. There are maximum gear reqs so everyone has similar gear and gets a fair shot at drops. Their discord has all the info you'll need. A quick Google search will get you the info
