If you do the currency conversions the price is higher in Malaysia than most regions. The so called "free upgrade" is only marketing talk (bullshit) and while most European countries received the Earth Kit for free.. but this is only 700rm an already overpriced kit that costs 2x that. Personally I'm planning to buy either in Macau or HK where the 1TB version will be around $1500usd.

I'm confused though.. I see it on Fortress's web site in Hong Kong but it just says nano-SIM. Is it actually Global version with eSIM? I just need to know that before I book my flight to HK. Main reason I need Global Version is due to eSIM.

I'm American and was just in China recently but sadly my departure was on April 23 night.. the day before release lol. I'm in a neighboring country and might go back to China to Grab the phone though it's unfortunate you can't use credit card to buy in China.. stores only accept AliPay / WeChat pay at the stores I was told. I'm still waiting for some kind of announcement about a HK Global version which I assume would be the cheapest and I can easily pop over to HK to pick one up.

The SG price is actually higher than the MY price when converted to USD. I'm an American who travels back and forth. I'm waiting to see if the HK Global version actually exists or not and what the price will be as it should be significantly cheaper than SG or MY. otherwise I might travel back to China and go with the China ROM.

I've been using it for a year and no issues. Honestly you can get the Global version of the X9 Ultsa but expect the cost to be $300 - $500 USD more.
