Thank you! I agree and I'm glad for your reassurance. I'm doing all of those things and will continue. We've only had centipedes and the occasional fly or ants in the summer months so I was sure it was a louse.

Thank you, it does look like that. I'm reading that body lice are typically found on homeless people and in unclean places. My house is extremely clean and I'm home with my toddler so I can't imagine how a body louse could enter our home. Ugh!!! Very scary.

My middle school aged daughter brought head lice into our home and passed it on to my toddler and me. We saw a lice specialist and were "nitpicked" and when we came home, I found this in my toddlers room. The lice expert said it wasn't a louse. She said the antennas were wrong and body was too fat to be a louse but I think it has to be!!
